Truly Truly disgusted...I really wish that I thought to take a picture of the $20 plate that I received.😒💀. I ordered the 2 seafood plate where I was supposed to get my choice between approximately 6 different seafood items. I chose the Catfish & Crab Cake...my sides were Lima beans and cabbage. When I received my plate I was in utter disbelief and confusion because my mind told me that they HAD to have given me someone else’s plate. I literally had three spoons of Lima beans...The cabbage I can honestly say was about a serving, but it was cold. I was supposed to receive 2 catfish filets, however, the second filet looked liked somebody clearly got hungry from the kitchen to the table because by the time our waitress put it on the table it wasn’t even 1/3 of the filet. $20............$20 people. I politely asked to talk to someone whereas the waitress said she’ll get the manager....She left momentarily and then returned, where she then tells me her manager is not there. Right then I decided to maintain my dignity, so I chalked the whole situation up as a loss and ate what I believed was someone else’s leftovers. By the time I got home my stomach was still growling after working a twelve hour shift at work. No refills offered on drinks....$20....................NEVER AGAIN! Had a good experience here awhile back with their soft shells, but not impressed with the last two visits. Their Clam Chowder is far from being a chowder - the base is gray and watery, certainly no flour, milk, or cream and definitely not tomato based like a Manhattan. It wouldn't even be considered a good soup. Maybe there was a splash of milk added to water to spin the use of the word Chowder. When the waitress came by I pointed at it and started to open my mouth and she already knew what I was going to say. Without me asking anything, she explained it was a "special" chowder. I had only two spoonfuls of it, but was too confused with the quality and explanation of it to be disappointed during the moment and not until after I left. The worst part of the experience was having the cost of using a card passed onto us, some 3.5%, or thereabouts. I would hope the restaurant can argue that it's written somewhere, but a table of six all missed wherever it's reasonably disclosed, if it is. It was like being forced to pay for a surprise attack of something you didn't order. It left another bad taste...

Of course, the food 🍤🍨 is always great, as well as the service. You are treated like family. 💗 I had to order take out. I have had foot surgery. I'm supposed to be off of my foot as much as I can for the healing process. However, you can't always do that..I would like to take the time out to say "THANK YOU" to Holly. 😁 When I called, I asked her if she could come outside to get the $ due to my foot surgery. Miss Holly came right on out, got the $, bought my change back & she's going to bring the plates to me. The food is always the 1st thing that is going to give a restaurant an awesome place. Also, the kindness, dedication, & just showing that they care about you, is just as important. Thanks Holly for that extra...
