Burger King — Restaurant in Alma

Worst Burger King around. The customer service when using drive thru is horrible. It’s always a wait as soon as you get to the speaker regardless of how busy. This time we have been in this drive thru for going on 30 minutes. With no movement. We had to say “Hello” just to get them to take our order after being told to “Hold on one second”. Every car behind us had given up. We honestly should have done the same. We ended up pulling into a parking spot and going inside. Yes they were busy inside but at the time of us arriving they were not. They prioritized dine in customers over drive thru. One of the workers had noticed we had left and assumed we drove off. They stated “The next order drove off”. I then spoke up and said “No, I’m right here”. They didn’t here me and who I would assume was the manager said “It doesn’t matter they paid for the food anyways so just put it away.” So I the said louder “I am right here behind you” and told them we had been in the drive thru for 30 minutes. My second try here was nearly identical to my first visit. I thought that the first time was possibly a bad day for them, but it appears that it is not the case. It looks like it's a chronic scenario.

Wait times are awful. Both to order and to receive your food. For this visit it was 38 minutes from walking in the door to getting my food. When I walked in, there were two people who had already ordered, and were waiting on food. There was no one in front of me waiting to order. There is one lady who is talking the orders, bagging the food, making drinks for the drive-thru, and boxing fries. There is a single "cook" and there was what looked like a manager that eventually came and took my order after at least 20 minutes of waiting. During a good majority of the wait, therr was no one at the counter, it was empty. They need to DOUBLE their staff.

The interior could use a refresh and is not the cleanest. I'm sure they don't have time to clean when they can barely...

The girl on front was very rude and took forever to wait on anyone, don't know what orders she was filling but it wasn't the front counter. She never once said she would be with us in a minute, to Ys or the family in front of us. But when an fellow employeethat happened to be off comes in and she looks at there and tells her she will help her in a minute. I was waiting to ask where the straws were and the father to the family that had been in front of us, and by chance did get to order, came back to look for straws. The off duty employee had gotten the straw container and put it by the register. The one behind the counter grabbed the bag if straws and fling it at the off employee who offered to fill it for her, then she offered to come in and help work. It was not a pleasant experience and luckily I don't live in that town and won't have to go back there. The floors were dirty and the tables...
