The host was polite. However, the waiter AJ was extremely overwhelming. The waiter did attend the table immediately upon seating for drinks, which was nice; but why did he ask what we wanted & if we needed more time before having a chance to open the menu and literally came back in less than 30 seconds asking if we were ready while face down reading the menu. The waiter was rushing us to order & rushing us out; even though there were ample empty tables.... This created a tense atmosphere & creepy vibes. It was like being forced to order & interrupted from reading without the chance flip to the next page. Waiters appearances made us question the cleanliness of staff & the facility... It felt like money hungry sales breath from the staff as you walked through a maze of hungry hippos...

This was on a Saturday so the special for the day was 2 country fried pork chops. The breading was nice and crunchy, pork chops were definitely juicy, tender and very flavourful. Fried okra had a nice breading to it and was cooked perfectly, it was crunchy and tender. Mashed potatoes tasted like mashed potatoes should. The best thing and what we get the most are the fried apples. Everytime we come here we always get them as a side. The apples are always cooked perfectly. Very flavorful with cinnamon and sugar. Oh and let's not forget the corn muffins. Definitely another must have for us. Staff was very friendly and we had a great experience. We also had to buy the corn muffin mix and a jar of fried apples before we left.

Food was really good.. I had the fried chicken served a breast, thigh, wing and a leg! Was alot with side of mashed potatoes and gravy, the potatoes had a little to much black pepper since its all I could taste. A side of chicken and dumplings which was good! Cheese bites were really good, had peach cobbler for desert with ice cream on top.. which everything was super cold, while my niece ordered the same thing and her was piping hot! So was disappointed in that! The restroom were a little dirty trash was over flowing the toilet seets sits close to the ground.. the staff was really friendly and on it, my cup didn't go empty ever!

I love going to cracker Barrels all over the state of Arkansas were I live im always getting folks to meet me at the Cracker Barrels because of the fact of the way You cold always depend upon the olf fashion Heritage thing you can admire and talk about all the different things you see everywhere in there buildings my older family members whom have used many of these older American heritage items on display in every area possible of each Cracker Barrel my family and Friends and I enjoy looking around and Browsing through the store shopping and talking about how we think something was used for back in its day , its been very educational for us all and has been my favorite place to go as a child my childhood fun place to go eat a great home cooked meal with family and friends. My Children, My grandchildren and now my great grand son 3 years old is starting to join in on our family fun in the Cracker Barrel old times history hunt for I spi something from the past that you could use for ----? Someone gets to chose what the And we go looking for it one or two at a time then we write down what we think that would be and look like to us and around the area we see what we think something is, this is like a scavenger hunt and my great grand father started this with me as im the oldest grand child on my mothers side and this item's were very much used in my family's daily lives journeys throughout the years and they found it very important for us to have knowledge understanding of this Particular things and how greatful and blessed we are today that we have many easier ways of doing things without using so much time and efforts with manual labor as they had to do in there lifes journeys back in the day as they say it loud and proud . So this is what is expected and important to me and my family and Friends about coming to eat and shop at Cracker Barrels all accross Arkansas and a few other states that we have traveled to we always want to go eat and met up at a Cracker Barrel its a family tradition for us . Thank you Cracker Barrel for your years of wonderful life time memories, Positive experiences , great making happy tracks memories , family traditions, and staying true to your continued life long customers , thank you for you are a place thats stay ture to our amazing American old time country Heritage on display and with good old fashioned foods served for each meal of the day something special for everyone thank you kindly Cracker Barrel , please continue to be the best place in America for our family and friends to enjoy our precious moments together enjoying the wonderful clean atmosphere of Cracker Barrel old times history and blast from the past is very important for us all in America today . let's stand strong today and American freedoms ring and enjoy your stories with family and friends at Cracker Barrel soon , im sure there one near you be blessed...

I was driving across Arkansas yesterday and decided chicken and dumplings (takeout) would be a delicious and quick dinner meal.

The board at the check in stand actually calls out their recommendations for quick service, with chicken and dumplings amongst six or so other suggestions.

Upon ordering the staff member advised it would be 5 - 10 minutes prep time. Great!

After waiting 15 - 18 minutes (I had received periodic assurances during my wait that the order would be completed soon; the young man that had originally taken my order even expressed his regrets for the ongoing delay, and kindly offered a to-go drink on the house) a different staff member went to the kitchen and returned with the news that it would "only" be five more minutes. I was out of patience (and also quite hangry) and told her I was not going to wait any longer.

Back on the road, I called the store manager and expressed my frustration - not seeking anything other than to offer my candid feedback and suggest he find out why this order had gone so fast astray from my usual good Cracker Barrel experiences. He seemed unaware of the issue, and offered his generic apology for my experience.

As it was a bit after eight o'clock pm when I arrived, demand on the kitchen appeared to be very light, so I don't have a clue why this experience...

Visited 8-27-22 Restaurant manager earns 5 stars, restaurant itself earns 2 stars. I will average it low though and make it 3 stars overall. Once again this is a situation where someone tried to fix something that wasn't broken. The menu has been changed, removing some of the favorite breakfasts, including omelets. My wife was looking for the Sampler which she used to order and ask for all Country Ham. Because of the menu change, she had to "create your own" breakfast, which includes a "sampler" (country ham, bacon and sausage)for no extra charge. Country ham is not a "premium" meat, so she again asked for all ham. She was not asked if she wanted apples or hash brown casserole, but was served both. When I went to pay I found we had been charged for the apples, and extra for the ham. When I spoke with the manager, she said with the menu change ham was now extra if substituted, and the create your own came with a choice of either hash brown casserole or apples, not both. She fixed our ticket and I paid. Food was as usual, scrambled eggs a little runny, sausage burnt, gravy bland, biscuits hard. Staff were all nice, helpful and pleasant to deal with, but I think Cracker Barrel has adjusted itself out of...
