My fiancé and I came through this store on 06.23.2024 at 8:40pm. There was two people on shift, one of them being a female manager that has been complained about in another review here. I placed my order through the app so it would be faster for us to drive home. My fiancé walked in and the first thing he heard was the female manager YELLING at the male employee that was running the front register, Drive-Thru AND cooking. The manager was yelling at the employee about getting something done that, in the span of my fiancé standing there, the gentleman had told her three to four times he had already completed. She was still yelling at him to get it done to the point he had to stop taking care of people to physically show her he had done it and all she had to say was “Oh”. Once that was done with the gentleman was trying to take care of this elderly group ahead of my fiancé and to keep it short, they WERE NOT happy that he wasn’t working fast enough. They walked out after already paying and refusing to get their money back so he moved on to our order. My fiancé let him know the name on our order and told him no rush, take your time, you’re doing great man. The gentleman continued working on our order along with multiple others, all while the female manager WAS STILL YELLING AT HIM! Her young daughter was hanging out in the lobby so she walked up asking the gentleman “Where’s my mommy?”. All that was heard from the female manager was “Be quiet and go play with something!” I don’t know what is going on in that store and why there isn’t more staffing to help on night-shift but whatever it is. The female manager and that gentleman need to swap positions! Even with all the customers coming in and walking out because he wasn’t going fast enough for their fancy, he was still busting orders out WITH NO HELP, at a pace suitable enough for the few customers that understood what was going on. I know life is hard for everyone right now but that manager needs to be let go! She does not have what it takes to lead a team let alone help her ONE employee willing to stick it out with her on...
Read moreAvoid! We stopped in for lunch on a cross-country drive. The outside appearance isn't too bad, but upon entering we found out we entered a KFC nightmare. Immediately you notice the food crumbs littered across the floor, every trashcan piled up like a mountain of leftover fried chicken bones and trash. Countless flies were buzzing around. My fiancé hit the women's restrooms while I searched for a clean, vacant table to sit at. Although there were ample seating available, not one table was clean. I finally decided to sit at the lest dirty one, after I removed the trash that had been left. As I sat waiting for my fiancé, a customer at the counter, a very thin man with no teeth was yelling to the employees about waiting 40 minutes for his order. This rambled on for about 5 minutes. I then, couldn't help but overhear the old couple sitting nearest to me complaining about how hard the biscuits were and the old man said they probably use them for hockey practice. Then as the yelling dude gets his order and finally leaves my fiancé came out of the restroom. I could tell the look on her face was a look of total disgust. She said the bathroom smelled horrible and there was a dirty diaper laying next to the toilet. She also said the floor was soaking wet with who knows what. We sat there for a minute looking around and discussing if it was a good idea to eat food at such a dirty, neglected restaurant. After reading other reviews we just simply left. I can not attest for the quality of the food since we decided to leave but I'll always take pawpaw's word for it when it comes...
Read moreThis whole encounter was just okay. Mid, at best. The soda machines weren't working. There was a homeless guy camped out at one of the tables charging his phone that kept asking us for money and then was calling someone on his phone complaining that "these crackers won't even buy me no food." The bathrooms were clean but most of the tables were trashed. We ordered on the kiosk but it took almost 10 minutes to get someone to come up and take our cash so we could pay. Then they told us they were out of chicken and it took 20 minutes to get our food. 20 minutes of being bombarded by requests for money or insults for not delivering. I mentioned it to the woman working who just said "yeah, we get that a lot." When the food came, the biscuits were great, as were the mashed potatoes and gravy, but the "fresh" chicken was rubbery and smelled burned. The mashed potato popper things are pretty gross and the gravy was congealed with a skin on top but the sweet and sour...
