Lily Sushi Bar Milton — Restaurant in Milton

5-Star experience for sure at this new location! I had accidentally booked a table for 2 on Resy instead of 4 and only realized my mistake the day before. They were graciously able to accommodate us shortly after I called, even though reservations were already full.

The restaurant is cozy and beautiful. Our server, Tan, was so kind and gave great menu recommendations for our kids. Now, the food! My 9-year-old loved her grilled octopus salad. My 8-year-old loved her Kyoto Roll, this for kids who are hit-or-miss with sushi generally! The unagi nigiri was fantastic and warm. The Crispy Salmon Skin Roll was a favorite all around, with the Fuji Roll a close second. The Volcano Roll had an amazing spicy sauce that gave this version an extra special twist. We topped off this birthday dinner with a tasty mix of mochi ice creams.

All around, a terrific dining experience that we can’t wait to go back to...

The Lily team has done a wonderful job of reimagining the space that Dua left behind, utilizing both first and second floor seating, a wide-open bar, and space to walk through. They did a nice job using the floor-to-ceiling windows and furnishings to create an airy but open dining experience. I am hopeful they use the outdoor space as well.

Though a new location, there is no compromise to the quality and variety of food. If you're not familiar with Lily, it's upscale service and presentation (drinks, too) in a beautifully appointed space. Lily is my favorite upscale sushi in this area.

They're still working through their efficiencies at this location so I would expect slower than normal dining experience. At least, it was yesterday, but the service was still nice. :)

I have to say I had high hopes for Lily coming into Milton since I liked the Alpharetta location a lot. Something is different though. The food quality and service are not like Alpharetta. The food and quality is consistently going down and service is spotty. I ordered the cod and it was oily and greasy very different than I remember it in the past. I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon. Also, the layout is odd. The stairs to get upstairs are steep and not convenient and upstairs doesn’t look cohesive nor have any sort of mood , just some tables placed upstairs with an exposed...
