Sergio's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Altamont

Went to Sergios on February 14th, 2020 with the Klamath social club. After members of the social club and myself waited for over an hour for our meals, everyone in the social club except for myself and 1 person sent their orders back and left. I recieved my order the food was horrible! I have traveled and had hispanic food in 32 states, 2 South American countries, and 3 different regions of Mexico itself, and the .99 cent Mexican El Patio TV dinner is more edible. There is no hispanic authenticity to the food it is just bland slop. I then went to pay the bill for my meal, which I might add was not what I ordered, I ordered the single fish taco dinner and they purposefully gave me a double order to charge me double the price, and charged me for a guacamole which the table next to us had ordered. I was then also charged for all the meals that the social club ordered and sent back because it took so long and they had things to do. When I complained about the high bill I was harrassed, threatened and accused of things and told Omar will take care of things later. My single fish taco meal came to almost $40 without beverages. After blowing me off for a few days and making me go to my bank to get a bank statement to prove they had charged me that, Omar got rude told me that their business doesn't need to itemize receipts for different members of parties nor give out receipts period to have evidence of your order nor does he care if the Klamath social club ever returns there or if the foods any good because they get plenty of business anyway and they don't care if customers are defrauded and treated poorly. On a side note I worked for Orkin Pest control in Portland Maine for years on a commercial route which is businesses. If a restaurant or food establishment has anything but bright lighting for their ambiance 9/10 times that business is hiding severe pest issues, usually cockroaches or rodents, take a good look at Sergios lighting...

My family and I went here for a birthday. Our waiter was rude and wouldn't bring me a margarita glass with salt on the rim. I asked 4 times and then went to the bar myself and the bartender was apologetic and kind. The hostess was nice until I spoke Spanish to her, then she made a dirty face and seemed insulted. I grew up in San Diego, speak fluent Spanish, and usually am treated kindly for knowing that second language. The opposite happens here. The burrito I ordered "dry" and it came soaked, and swimming in about an inch and a half of liquid grease. The meat inside was tender but horrible tasting. I ate one bite and was glad I forgot my box at the table. So I paid $30 for two margaritas and a burrito I couldn't bare to eat. My first language is English. Did I mistreat the staff for trying? No. I tried to make it easier by speaking THEIR language. Treatment aside, the food was horrible. Absolutely NOT AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD. I will never eat here nor will my family or friends ever again. We all felt the waiter deserved no tip. The awesome chips and salsa guy was super friendly and helpful. He helped us out when the waiter stopped caring. I love him! That 17 year old boy was sooo sweet. He saved that restaurant from an angry, hungry crowd of 12 people. So thanks again...

Tonight my family and I went to Sergio's the restaurant was so dark when you first walked in and the girls at the register looked so confused when I walk in that they have no idea what to do when they finally decide on what they were doing. They took my name and told me about a half hour then we were seated the waiter barely spoke English. Then when our drinks came they where small drinks with no refills, we ordered finally got our food. The food did not look appetizing at all. My daughter's chicken nuggets looked horrible I ordered the chili verde and a tiny little container no flavor. Rice was dry beans were little with cheese all over it. My husband ordered the special and he said most of it was flavorless and dry. When the manager came we told him how we feel and he just said what do you want me to do for you. You would think he would want comp our meals. That we might think of coming back. But no he had the waiter just bring my check. The girls at the register asked how my dinner was I told them it horrible that I would never come back I would have rather went to Taco Bell they said okay $43. I would not go back there if my life...
