We ordered the nachos which came burnt and the cheese tasted stale, so we sent them back and replaced them with the beef quesadillas, which also came burnt on the inside while the outside somehow wasn’t baked enough, and the “beef” literally looked like cat food. The bacon bits inside were also burnt and the plate didn’t come with sour cream or guacamole, only some shredded salad and a very small amount of diced tomatoes. The bbq boneless chicken wings were good but the ranch that accompanied them was very watery so it lacked flavor. We also ordered a round of 2 for 1 margaritas & Long Island iced teas; we understand that Happy Hour drinks tend to be lighter but after 2 rounds you expect to feel at least some effect from the alcohol but instead there was none - the taste was just that of straight margarita mix. The waitress was kind so we didn’t want to bother her with our complaints and decided to ask directly for the manager at the end of the meal. He was a bit patronizing asking if we expected the quesadillas to be cooked with prime rib, which we absolutely did not - we’re realistic of our expectations of Chili’s and just keep going back in the hopes that one of our long time favorite restaurants will give us the experience it always did but we’ve come to accept that the quality and cleanliness of the locations just isn’t acceptable anymore. We explained that we’ve recently been disappointed several times with our meals there (and one time at a different location in Joplin, Missouri) and just wanted to pass along that, after 30 years, we’ll no longer be dining at Chili’s. The manager didn’t seem concerned but offered to comp us the quesadillas, which we only ate 1/3 of anyway. A good lump of money spent for an overall unsatisfying...
Read moreHad the Day Off so decided to stop for lunch and a drink while our Bully puppy was getting groomed and socialized at PetCo . Major disappointment, upon being seated we were informed that the Bartender didn't show up and noone knew why (interesting greeting) but needless to say no drinks , we were disappointed in that but we stayed, Wife and I decided to order their Lunch Special and ordered a burger with fries combo for the side I chose their chilli and wife choose their house salad with ranch...This is where the lunch portion of our trip stared to go sideways aswell. The chilli I got was soo over salted it tasted like a salt lick, I tried to salvage it by adding crackers to tone the salt down , a salty chilli would have been good on the burger but waaay too salty and was informed they had no crackers . Soo They swapped it out for their chicken enchilada soup which was over salted aswell. While waiting on my burger I realized my wife had stopped eating her salad and when I ask why, she said . Plz try my dressing it tastes fishy. I was like hmm. When I tried it , it was ceaser dressing which was way over anchovy-ed... It's a good thing she doesn't have a shellfish allergy or that could have been a very bad afternoon ... The bugers came out after a bit and were extremely bland , but the fries were good, they were fresh outa the frier and seasoned well... Overall a very disappointing day off lunch but the quality time with my wife was good... We typically go to the Chillis 🌶 in Apopka but saw this one and was like heeeey , that would be nice . SADLY NOPE... I love leaving stellar reviews so leaving one like this doesn't sit well with me but it is what it is and hopefully the input will help others experiences to be more...
Read moreMy friend and I had good service and good food tonight at Chili’s as usual, but I’m rather upset with the staff. After I left the restaurant I later realized I had left the birthday gift my friend had given me on the table. It was about two hours later when I returned after a movie to see if they had my bag. When I came back I stood at the hostess stand for about 5 minutes with no one bothering to come over and ask if I needed help or anything. Finally, I approached a waitress and asked her about the bag I had left there earlier. She asked what it looked like and then told me she thought she saw someone throw it in the trash, but said she would check. So I waited for a bit until another employee asked if I was being helped and I told him. He said she was probably checking on it. I waited for about another ten minutes and the waitress never bothered to come back and tell me anything. However; the other employee that had approached me went up and said something to her and then he came over and told me the bag had been thrown out. The manager was standing there and I told him that it really sucked they would just throw out a gift without giving their customer a chance to come back and get it. And all he could say was he wasn’t there earlier. I’ve eaten in this restaurant many times, but probably will not do so again after the lack of concern and service I received when I came back in to see about my gift I left behind. Who throws out someone’s stuff right away if they accidentally leave it? Most places have a lost and found. What I’m most upset about is the attitude of the employees who could care less they threw my stuff out and couldn’t even help me when I came in. Won’t...
