FYE — Local services in Altamonte Springs

I went into the store yesterday and purchased a hat that was on clearance. Upon checking out, the cashier offered a free rewards program and said it was absolutely free and that with the program there will be discounts on future purchases. He asked for my ID but he scanned the barcode without my consent. When I got home, I saw the membership packet that he put into the shopping bag and saw that there was a monthly charge of $11.99 for this so call free membership. I would've just denied the membership at the register if I was told it was going to be a monthly charge. This is obviously a scam system to lie to customer by telling them the perks but not actually informing them that they are paid perks. I frequent FYE often but now knowing how they lie to their customers, it's not worth going. I went online to check the status of the membership and it appears that a random email was inputted for the membership as well so I couldn't even access the account. I called to cancel the membership and the person over the phone continued to try to persuade me with discounts and offers to keep the membership active. She even told me I could use the so call free $20.00 coupon towards the membership cost. I told her no multiple times and she went on and on trying to keep the membership active. This further proves that this is a scam and most likely my credit card information have already been given over parties for other kinds of subscriptions. So this Fye is inside a mall so it gets a lot of customers to it so be warn it gets packed. Just wanted to give you a heads up. but on a good note 📝 there is a bathroom 🚽 close by the store and the food court. They keep the store well cleaned and the staff is amazing . They helped me out so much because I was trying to find some certain movies 🎥.iys hard to find a parking space in the mall parking lot so come early as you can . They keep the store well stock with merch . They have everything there from good to clothes to music and movies . The reason I gave it a 4/5 is that even the staff is nice and they do help you out a lot because it’s a popular store and its pack it takes a long time sometimes to get help but once you do the hell is awesome . FYE is great for movies, but do consider some are expensive, and some are cheap. You may not always find what you may want or the price but guaruanteed to find something in the middle. Since Movie stop closed its probably the only place i know to find hard to seek movies, and really finding movies are difficult today with all the digital media. Sometimes having a hard copy is different feeling. The collectables are so neat. I find exclusives there that are so cool. For example i love horror movies and found all my riot society shirts and a childs play cereal i keep the box on my fridge. FYE is great to spend alot time and everybody can find something they like. Always been one of my favorite stores even though i dont shop as much as i used to. Friendly helpful employees that can keep a conversation about what you are interested in. Best shop in the...
