I booked my daughter 8th bday party there Saturday Oct 19 2024 for the 3rd year in a row because my daughter enjoys Chuck E Cheese And the idea of winning tickets on the games needles to say half the games didn’t work and when i brought it to the attention of the store manger they just ignored me brush it off. This was quite upsetting do to the fact that you pay a lot of money to book a party there to have a bunch of upset kids because the games they want to play are all broken also I paid for the 2nd most expensive package they have and the kids I paid for in my package where supposed to get a gift bag once it was close to the ending of my booked time frame of 2 hours I ask my party host where the gift bags where that were part of my package. the way she acted I think she was hoping I had forgot once I mentioned it to her because some of my guest were getting ready to leave she was like nonchalantly oh yea we are out but u can tell the cashier to add 500 tickets to her balance, this should have been brought to my attention at the beginning of my party I did arrive 15 minutes early. So there that part of my disappointment secondly once the party was over we got are bill and was told upon her handing us are bill that’s tips are accept in cash. I was quit shocked that this was said to me since the package I picked I paid for a party host and now to be told she expected a tip in cash she wasn’t a very good host at all I had to look for her to find out when the Pizzias where coming out and everything else. I myself am a server so for her not to check up on us and see how things were going in this 2 hours we had scheduled is very upsetting also who carry’s cash on them we didn’t have cash on us my husband felt obligated to tip so he left that party and had to drive around to find an atm to get cash out. I held her party there last year and not once was a tip every mention, and we weren’t felt obligated to have to do so seems I paid a lot of money for what we received. Chuck E. Cheese u need to do better if you are going to charge the prices your charging for party’s and make sure that the kids games all work for there enjoyment also I’m righting this review because of how I was treated during A reserved party I held for my daughter birthday all I can say is I won’t be doing another party there next year this pretty much was a waste of money for kids that started out excited to turn disappointed in a hurry and also to be made to feel obligated to tip. I don’t have a problem tipping when the servers is worth it or when it’s not already calculated in your bill. I paid for the party host so I don’t feel like she should’ve said that to us that we have to tip in cash since when is that part of the package and if that what Chuck e cheese is doing know then u need to add a tip line in your system for credit cards for the people that don’t...
Read moreWe felt like not much effort was put into our daughter's birthday. To be honest for the money we spent it felt like a waste.
The host was nice but are party table was not ready once we arrived. She stated we were on one list but not another list. So we had to wait 15 minutes until our table was ready. On top of me having to remind her what package we paid for and what cake we ordered. The wrong cake was brought out and it was frozen. Barely could put the candle in. We ended up leaving the whole cake there because it was not appealing at all.
6 or 7 of the game machines were out of order. Both of the photo machines were out of paper and out of order. We asked a worker they said there was nothing they could do about it.
The food was sold at rip off prices. The pizza was a medium size pizza with extremely small pieces. 2 slices per child which was the size of one piece at a normal pizza restaurant. The wings were 14.99 for 5 traditional wings.I kept asking how many wings I would get and it was implied they were sold by ounces.. They were skinny wings with barely any meat. Total rip off.
I have been to many Chuck E Cheese birthday parties and always had Chuck E Cheese come out and sing Happy Birthday. This time he was on the TV. Very disappointing my daughter was expecting to see Chuck E. Also when it was time to sing Happy Birthday we had to share our Birthday song with another child's party. Our cake was lit after the other child's and my daughter blew out her candles late.
When it came to leaving our stamps were not checked at the door to ensure the child was leaving with the correct parents. That was concerning with many children running around.
The host was nice and tried to redeem herself . But unfortunately there was many things that was disappointing and out of her control.
I would not recommend...
Read moreI'm rating it a four because my son and his friends had a great time and honestly that's what matters. However, I'm not thrilled with some of the things that happened or didn't happen. We felt rushed, it felt very unorganized. Our server was all over the place. We had a party there last year and last years server was very attentive and communicative. Today's server not so much.. she tried her best but she was all over the place. I honestly felt very pressured. Which isn't what I expected. The amount we paid I should of been able to relax but I felt so bad for my server I tried to step up to elevate things for her. I wasn't happy as soon as I walked in I was being asked ice cream flavors for my guest who hadn't even arrived yet. I wasn't thrilled my son was left in the ticket blaster machine as they were trying to work on it. Instead of asking him to step out. When a comment was made about him being left in there. We were told oh we can get him out but still left him in there. Then towards the end it was a rush to clean our table the young man was trying to throw the take home cups out. My father in law stopped him and grabbed the cups. All in all besides feeling extremely rushed and some things not going the way we expected it to our son and his friends had an amazing time. And when you have a young child who has been stuck at home and had been pulled from school due to an rare autoimmune illness. You appreciate the little things that make him happy. So I appreciate chuck e cheese for helping make his birthday special. I just wish it...
