I rarely write reviews so know this is 100% genuine. My boyfriend I pass this store almost everyday and we finally we decided to try it after looking at some reviews, and were not disappointed at all. First of all their bread is amazing and has the best crunch to fluff ratio and their cheese and meat is boars head 10/10. Moving forward Iām more likely to go here than for a pub sub and before I was a big pub sun fan but thereās a craft to a sandwich that lawless just gets. My cheese was the last to go on and was toasted allowing for everything to stay in and not fall out. A perfect amount of every component, just like itās supposed to be with no overpowering. Upon walking in we were nicely greeted and Jeremy explained everything really well for any questions I had and seemed to be a really nice man, this just made the environment so much more comforting and nice. I started eating my sandwich immediately in the car and as a 90 pound 20 year old I can completely say I destroyed that sandwich and I got the 11ā too like if u need a sign to try this place then this is it and I donāt even finish my pub sub in one sitting. After being excited I found a new place I told my dad about lawless and apparently he already goes here and literally talked ab how good the bread and meat was too and how he tried to get me to go before but I said no because I wanted a pub sub ( this is like full circle people ) anyway as u see im late to the loop but im here now . Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been frequenting this place since 2008. I used to frequent this place very often when working in the area. We have stopped in on our way back from the beach and could easily go to other places, but we choose to go here in order to support small businesses and the food isnāt bad either. I just recently ordered a couple of sandwiches. The guy prepared them and the lady took our payment. He put our sandwiches in the corner and we didnāt even know they were there. I noticed that one of the subs which is normally toasted wasnāt. I asked him to toast it and he put in the toaster. Several minutes went by while he attended to other people and the food just sat there in the toaster. Finally, he realized it was still there and got it out, as he took care of other people. It seems like they cater to many of the regulars and locals as many of the people were welcomed on a first name basis. We got our food and sat down to eat and the lady who took our payment kept sweeping around us and didnāt even ask us how the food was or if we needed anything. They spoke to another gentleman sitting in the restaurant and acted as if we didnāt even exist. The food was decent, but the service not so much. Maybe if we came here on a regular basis it might have been a different experience, but we donāt live close by. As we walked out we werenāt even acknowledged or thanked. If you own a business itās very important to thank...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI moved here 2 years ago and the first decent sandwich shop I went to regularly was Jason's deli, but other than the 2 sandwiches I like there, I was really bored with their options and never wanted to try anything new. Plus I became tired of the average service and the group customers that are just super annoying.
Lawless is the only place I get sandwiches from now. It isn't as cheap as publix, but the quality is world's better. The owner makes his own roast beef in house, his potato salad (best I've had aside from Whole Foods since moving to the area 2 years ago) and mac salad and I believe the bread.
He also bakes cookies and brownies for sale in the store as well. I dont like roast beef generally, but his is awesome, really rare and juicy, but in my opinion best cold rather than toasted, but that's personal preference. I've tried many and they've made a few custom orders for me as well when I asked.
Always has the friendliest service and they're polite, but relaxed. This isn't a corporate chain where the employees know they're just shills. The employees and owner here have fun personalities and are just very nice people. I've been trying to get my work to start using them, but I think until I plunk a Lawless sandwich in front of the decision maker they're going to keep using Jason's which just makes me sad for the people eating...
