This location needs to get there stuff together. I applied to work here and got an interview next day which went well so I thought oh maybe working at Popeyes won’t be so bad..but I was wrong. I give props to only one person which her name was Makayla she was the only nice person I spoke to (she the one who interview me).I am a really friendly smiley type of person because you never know what anybody going through so I try to stay positive. When I showed up for my first day I waited in line patiently to tell the cashier I was suppose to start my first day he told the manager or whoever and couple mins later they asked for my shirt size so you would think there finna start me up..no they did not like 25mins later still no shirt but I did get one employee say something about my pants which was flare black jeans (wore these plenty of times at my last fast food with no complaints) after giving me a dirty up and down look she went back into the kitchen. Still time being past by nobody asked me nothing I’m just waiting patiently for a shirt mind you I was scheduled for 6:15-8 2hrs….which got there at 6:05 and was just sitting in the lobby for a good 45mins I finally start to lose my patience because so again I waited the line patiently waiting to talk to the cashier I asked him “does he know how much longer I have to be waiting for” he then asks the suppose “manager” who has not spoken or greeted me not once she then says “she doesn’t have the right pants or belt or nothing” which she did not tell me herself I could just hear because then again the kitchen right there where they can clearly see me. So the same lady who gave me dirty looks and made a comment about my pants comes to tell me the same thing the suppose “manger” just said. So I then asked does that mean I can’t work?…she says yeah and I walked out they literally wasted my time I was sitting there in the lobby for an hr not being told anything when they can clearly see me from the kitchen and I don’t understand how I can’t wear a white plain belt that the shirt gonna cover up anyways on top of that the lady say “you can’t wear jeans” but eb in there was wearing jeans…on top of that the places wasn’t even that busy and they still managed to get orders in slowly while I was waiting a lady was standing there waiting for her order for about 20mins and she only had like a 5pc combo and she did ask the cashier about her order which he then told her “it was coming” which it was not even being made bc sb from the kitchen had to ask her what she got and remade it for her there is no reason a customer should be waiting 20mins at a “fast food” place that wasn’t even that busy. They need new management. Karma is real that all I can say treat people with...
Read moreMy roommate and I both placed mobile orders at the same time. When we walked into the restaurant, the kitchen was already behind and some customers were already restless. I received my order in about 20 minutes, which was already a long wait for a chicken sandwich. At 30 minutes in he asked for a status and was told his tenders were 10 minutes out. He checked again at 45 minutes and was told they are still waiting on tenders. Meanwhile the drive thru was moving right along. At this point we had seen several other customers who waited 20 to 30+ minutes for their order inside. At the 60 minute mark we asked for an update again. Still no ghost pepper wings. Frustrated, rightfully so after an hour of extreme patience, my roommate sat on the counter very peacefully. The manager almost immediately came out and rather than politely asking him to sit elsewhere she immediately had attitude. Roommate said he’ll happily move once he has his order. Keep in mind, after an hour of patience and being told to wait without so much as an apology from anyone but the poor lady working the front, he felt this was the most peaceful way to actually get someone’s attention. He responded to her attitude with reminding her how patient he had been the last hour; she snapped back that she was being patient with him. At no point in the last hour had she responded to his request for an update, apologize, or offer anything to compensate for the delay. We didn’t even realize she was the manager until this point. She could have de-escalated the situation in so many different ways, but instead immediately whipped out her phone and called 911. Finally, after 75 minutes, and what I assume was a FaceTime to her higher up, he finally got his ghost pepper wings and we left without further incident. Through overhearing that conversation we learned that at least 3 separate batches of ghost wings had been made and all used to cover drive thru orders. He was skipped over each time.
Absolute worst experience I have ever had at a fast food restaurant. Delay aside, the situation could have been easily avoided with better leadership and some form customer service.
The only highlight was the front of house lady, Amethyst, when tried her very best to get though to the back of house, including going back there at one point to try and handle the order herself. She acted like more of a manger than the actual manager. She was being bombarded with unhappy customers who had been waiting and never...
Read moreI've been to this location many times since it is the only popeyes near my house and the experiences have always been mediocre or okay at best. This time has been the worst by far. We came in at around a quarter past 1 o'clock but didn't get our food until after 2. We came inside to get our food and eat it quickly since we were trying to get to a movie by 2:15 which obviously didn't happen. Once we ordered they told us it would be 4 mins for fresh chicken which was fine. After we ordered a large line formed after us and some how every single person had gotten their food before we did. When I went up to the counter the girl told me they had basically bumped our order and forgot about it, even though we had just ordered 20 mins before and had been sitting there the whole time. I tried giving them some credit since everyone was being nice for the most part and they had been busy. However, the fact they could have had us sitting there all day without even realizing it is unacceptable. It's not my job to remind them that we need our food. Plus, they didn't even give us the 2 extra biscuits we paid for. When I called to complain and ask for a full refund the manager told me I had to bring back the food even though we were already late to our movie because of THEM. The food we did get was pretty good so I'll give them that but 1 star is being too generous for the overall experience.
Update as of January 2023. Still the worst service, still slow, still forgetting parts of our order, food still cold/dry. I DONT GET IT. I really was hoping this location had changed after 3 years, but no luck. It's really unfortunate since this is the only popeyes within a 10 miles radius of my...
