No matter the time no matter the day. Whether or not they are busy or slow. You’re guaranteed to wait AT LEAST 25 minutes. I’m a Uber Eats driver so I go to plenty of restaurants (literally done 3,000 orders) and this the worst. I avoid this restaurant at all cost this location specifically. This morning I took an order bc it was the morning in hopes that I would have a different experience. Got to the restaurant no one in the drive thru and only one car parked. I thought i scored until i went inside. The customer seemed to be waiting a while and frustrated. They messed up his order (one burrito). He had to come back twice as i waited. I watch everything take place bc of course I had to wait 30 minutes (maybe more). I even remember his requests no cheese no sour cream no egg as i heard him repeat this each time they made the mistake. The managers reaction was mind blowing as she laughed at his frustration and rushed him with ok ok. The customer and I began talking. Him explaining that he’s going to be late for his meeting hearing him take the call explaining to his client as well. I apologized on their behalf bc i even felt bad. I continued to wait patiently. As i watch the manager answer her personal phone as if she was home. The order i was picking up was sitting there. Once he hung up she tells her employees to pick up there feet which was disturbing to me bc i watched how she’s been carrying herself this whole time. She thought i left and said oh the lady left as if that was what she was hoping for. I said I’m still here. She said yes we’re busy give us one moment. At this point I had to say something because they weren’t busy at all lol. I told her your not busy and your stopping me from doing my job. She told me that is my choice. I said maybe i should call corporate. She said you tell on me i can tell on you too. Me very confused bc what did i do lol other than patiently wait for 30 minutes as i even watched her take a personal call. When the other worker gave me my food i thanked him as it’s not the employees fault for how unprofessional there manager is. I couldn’t get her name bc as this whole conflict happened she was on the side and never came out after but if you go or go often you will know exact who I’m talking about. She never gave me corporations number or her name. I really hope someone who is in power can see this and make a change bc how is Taco Bell in Altamonte Springs is so unprofessional for this long? Just to be clear the staff were nice and way more professional...
Read more3 separate experiences: -Drive-thru is never less than 45 minutes here unless you arrive at some sweet spot time where it is magically empty. There is NO in-between. I have never in my life waited so long for fast food and the fact I can't just leave because I'm blocked in by cars also waiting in line drives me insane. All that wait only to get home and my order was missing a burrito. From an order of 2 burritos. My bad, should've checked and gauged the weight of the bag I guess. I was just too frustrated and hungry at that point.
-Order ahead to avoid the drive-thru nonsense (sure enough, it is PACKED when I arrive). Online it said pickup was still available for about another hour and a half, so I went that route. Get to the restaurant and the doors are locked, staff behind the counter but working the drive thru. I check the app and they're making my food so I can't cancel it, and there's no way in hell I'm waiting in that drive thru line. Legit wasted money to save time, all because doors were closed earlier than they should've been.
-Order ahead again for pickup, MUCH earlier this time (around normal dinnertime). Ordered quesaritos which are cheesy wrapped tortilla around a burrito that has more cheese and sour cream etc in it. There wasn't cheese anywhere in either of them, outside, inside, nowhere. And no sour cream either. It was a dry, double tortilla, sad thing saved only by the guacamole I paid an extra dollar for. Ordered a cinnabon iced coffee, which they couldn't make because they ran out. They couldn't refund me the price of it because they don't do refunds in the store based on online orders, or something like that. That last bit is not necessarily this location's fault, I think it's just corporate policy nonsense. Though they offered me another drink, I don't like any of their other drinks. So that was $3 wasted.
So yeah, I think I'm done...
Read moreThis place needs to be investigated by the health inspector!!!! As many others have stated before me.... the service here is the biggest problem. I stay in the area and used to frequent this location in the past but nowadays there is a serious staff issue where they seem to have hired a lot of young immature teens as well as some shady looking, uneducated adults which has caused the quality of the food to decline rapidly!!! Last few times I went here the food was wrong each time. Especially if you go here in the late evenings it seems that the night staff is definitely the worst. Ghetto fabulous to say the least... take that how you will!!! Rude, unprofessional, ignorant, uneducated, low class fools who could care less about their jobs... let alone your food!!! And with the recent trend of people messing with the food, it is scary when you pull up to the drive thru window and you are met with a young ghetto idiot who probably dropped out of high school and has the worst attitude in the world and gets a bigger attitude because you ask for hot sauce. Literally rolling her eyes in disgust as if her reaching over less than a foot away to give a customer hot sauce is detrimental to her life.... it’s a damn shame what has happened to society today! Especially with some of these millennials who feel they can just do whatever & treat people however they want and it’s nothing!!! And in a nutshell that’s the big problem here, too many extremely young, rude & ghetto employees who just don’t care!!! The disappointing part is, this place used to be a great location in the past. Never had a problem here until in recent months. I would strongly warn anyone to stay away from this location. If you do, try not to come at night, seems like that’s when most of people’s bad experiences...
