13$ for a drink and a sandwich is already insane, but i like some of the stuff on the menu and it’s nearby my work place, so i obliged. the guy on the box/window is impersonal as hell. no hello, nothing. i used to work at starbucks and recently found a new job and left, but when i did work there the company hammers the ‘customer connections’ aspect of the job like no other. which is why i’m confused that some of the people that work at this company still have their job. i ordered my drink in a grande, and i previously had it made wrong at another location. they put it in a venti cup, saying there’s no room, but that’s bs. it just tastes like cereal milk with a hint of coffee. unfortunately, at this place, they made the same mistake. i politely told him that i wanted it in a grande cup, and he insisted that it was fine in a venti, and i asked for it to be remade in a grande. he then proceeded to look at me in the eye and glare at me as if i had just killed somebody and didn’t say a word, and walked away. he then got the girl that made the drink and she also began insisting that it wouldn’t fit in a venti. again, bull. other locations do it all the time and i know for a fact that it does because i had worked there for 2 years and did it every day. i didnt even bother arguing because i could see the line forming behind me. but to say the least, the people that work here are inept. i wish i could take back the tip that i gave them. stay away from this...
Read moreI thought about this all day. I am a daily Starbucks customer & have never left a negative review before. That being said, Hubby & I, stopped at this location this morning. I placed a mobile order for a tall peppermint mocha latte, a grande iced coffee, & a grande hot chocolate. Hubby went in to get the drinks. Only the iced coffee was up. He asked about the other drinks & was told that they had not come through. He re-ordered his hot chocolate. When he got back to the car, I checked the order on my phone, all three drinks were ordered & payed for. I went in, the remaining drinks were waiting on the counter (obviously all three drinks came through). Once back to the car, I found that the iced coffee was not prepared according to my request (I am diabetic & am, admittedly, very specific about sweeteners, etc. This has yet to be a problem for me at Starbucks). Also, the peppermint mocha was cold, not merely not hot, but cold (My guess would be that the milk had not been steamed). It was undrinkable, as was the iced coffee. To sum up, I spent $10+ four three drinks, two of which got tossed. Just for today, I am not a happy...
Read moreGood morning, It's been a while since I been out to a restaurant for breakfast and decided to try Starbucks. I went in and ordered a Mango dragon fruit and 2 breakfast sandwiches. I waited about 4 min for my drink and about 3 minutes for one sandwich. So I still was waiting for my other sandwich and one of the ladies fixing the drinks ask me what am I waiting on I told her my sandwich. So about 2 minutes later I guess she was the manager asking me loud what am I waiting on? I walked down to the board because as I stated earlier I have not been out to eat in a while so I couldn't remember the other name for the sandwich. She said I didn't pay for it in a very nasty way which how is that I slid my card and made the order together. I just slid my card again. But I will be filing legal action for the way I was treated by the manager and in front of other witnesses which one of my colleagues was there as well. I also checked my bank and it was paid for already. I usually don't like reviews and this complaint will not just sit here actions will be taken - this for the Starbucks on 436 Next to Amscot across the street is Aldi....
