The Honey Baked Ham Company — Restaurant in Altamonte Springs

As it happens, I visited this Honey Baked Ham location twice before the Christmas holiday. I am not usually the one to pick up the hams and I had heard nightmare stories of long lines and rude customers so I was concerned. I ordered our ham online and made an 8am appointment since I am an early bird. There were only a few customers quickly in and out as I parked. I was greeted at the door by a security officer and a staff member. They told me which queue to go in and I was assisted quickly and professionally.

The next day I also went right about 8am to pick up my in-laws ham as they were not well. They had a gift card for an 8lb ham. They were out of 8lb hams so they gave me a larger one and refused to let me pay the difference. This day I waited in line for a while but enjoyed nice conversation with people around me. Both experiences were very pleasant and I definitely recommend The Honey baked Ham Store.

Never disappointing. Whether you get their honey baked ham...cannot be beat truly... Or turkey... Sandwich or spiral sliced ham. You must go ahead and splurge on the HB ham...it's about 8$/pound... Because it simply has no equal in my book. Around the holidays it get crazy there so order days ahead for pick up. The staff at the HB in Semoran blvd hwy 436 near the railroad tracks in Altamont Fl is fantastic. They're organized, love to solve any problems and to help you find the perfect ham for your get together. Everyone has kept in great humor I've noticed even when the huge holiday crush is on. We’re been going to this Honey Baked Ham store for YEARS!!! The staff inside & outside are friendly, very welcoming AND they have the shopping experience down to a science! You may arrive and see a line, but trust me, you won’t be still for long! Whatever the wait, it’s SO WORTH IT! The ham is incredible, the turkey breast is moist & delicious & makes great leftover sandwiches (much cheaper then deli meat!) Sides...in our family, the table is not complete without sweet potatoe soufflé & apples!!! We’ve NEVER had a bad experience or a bad bite of food, EVER!!! Very happy & we’ll continue at this location until they or us...
