Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Altavista

Horrible experience. Luckily I am not from here so I will most likely never have to call this location again. Being the only place open after 11pm on a Saturday and being unable to cook due to staying in a hotel I figured we would order up some Dominos.

First call is at 11:20pm. We were advised that they only had one delivery driver and it would be over an hour. So he nicely told us that it would be better if we called back in 30-40 mins as it would assure our food would be hotter. Ok so we wait. I call back at 11:50. We are then told the driver was still going to be out for a while and we should call back in 30 more mins.

We almost gave up but we were hungry. I call back at 12:25am and place the order. Bacon and Tomato chicken. Chicken Alfredo and some cheesy stuffed bread sticks. We ask for some marinara sauce and some ranch sauce. 30 mins later the driver shows up. Order is $23.51. Girlfriend goes to the door and has to wait forever while he takes out his calculater to figure out the change from $30 all the while I can hear him call her sweetie about 5 different times. Then I get to hear him tell her how he is done for the night and heading home. Not sure if he was hinting or what.

Well we tip regardless and sit down to eat only to realize they left out the sauces and gave us no plasticware. Luckily the hotel had stuff in their breakfast area.

What a joke, but the guy that took the call was nice. They have a lot to learn there, which includes, hiring more drivers, not forgetting food, understanding people in hotels don't usually have forks on them and lastly, not hitting on other peoples girlfriends when they can't see who all is in the room.

Luckily I am not an overly jealous guy or he would have heard from me.

Good luck Dominos (Altavista)... You...

I was celebrating the rare of occasion that I had Saturday off with my friends, and order 2 large pizzas 🍕, 1 Hawaiian and 1 Extravaganza with the garlic crusts. My friend has a mushroom allergy and the other disliked black olives so I had to modify the Extravaganza pizza and your site made it super easy to omit those toppings and even add toppings in their place; also added onions to the Hawaiian. Even more impressive than ease of using your website was the fact that your crew didn't mess up and throw the omitted toppings on to the pizza which is HUGE when you are someone with serious food allergies. So your team was on their A game with attention to detail in only putting what was requested on the pizza (unlike so places when you do a simple modification like omit 1 topping)! Keep up the great work and making delicious pizzas! We will keep ordering from the Altavista...

I tried to place an order online and have it delivered. Kept getting an error so I called the Altavista store and the young lady on the phone told me the credit card machine was down. So I said I would do carry out because all I had was a $100bill and I knew the driver would not have change.

The girl told me to place online I guess she was too busy to take my order, which I did, went to store and then was informed that I couldn't pay for the food with my money- they dont take $100's and can't take my credit card - there is no sign on your door stating you won't take them - so you all can keep the food and I will never order with you again.
