We had a group of 21 come in last night for my birthday dinner. Our waitress and her waitress in training were so great! When our food came out, one order of mozz sticks were burnt, had to send back. They brought a replacement order and they were much better. My husband ordered some whiskey bourbon steak. When it came out, it had hollandaise sauce on it and they took it back to the kitchen. They SCRAPED the hollandaise sauce off, and added what is supposed to be the whiskey bourbon(I could be wrong on this name, but it's a long those lines )sauce. It was literal BROWN GRAVY. The waitress brought the manager to the table who rudely said "it's not brown gravy, it's a demi glaze" and when my husband asked to have it remade without the "sauce", he took it back and again, SCRAPED the gravy off, cut off the part where my husband took a bite, seared that side and returned it. Normally, a restaurant will remake the whole dish. But no. So my husband refused it and just asked that it be taken off our bill. The manager grabbed it off the tabl, copped an attitude and said "well I'm sorry you just don't like it". My husband did not order a new meal, and did not finish the original meal. So WHY when we got our check was it STILL ON THERE!? I confronted the manager and told him we are NOT paying for a meal that was not eaten, and that they had messed up more than once. He argued that it's not coming off of the bill bc it was made correctly that he just didn't like it. I argued back that they messed up more than once and the dish was not consumed. He stated that he can't take it off and that it's "policy."I, again, refused to pay for that dish. He says "I'll take it off, but for future reference..." Told him I didn't need a future reference, I won't be returning. He had a very hateful attitude from the very start. Then went and apologized TO MY PARENTS instead of my husband and then LIED and said my husband asked for the sauce to be scraped off which was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am unhappy with the service our family received at the restaurant. Our appetizers were brought out within a reasonable time, however, our actual dinner took way too long. I tried to inquire about the status of our dinner and the manager(who had just asked if we needed anything) very rudely told me "Look, you are not the only one in the restaurant, we have other customers". His tone and response were both inappropriate for me asking a simple question. We were part of a bigger party and we were one of the first ones to place our order out the group and by the time I inquired, most of the other members (who arrived and ordered after us) of the group had already received their dinner and had eaten. I requested to speak with the owner of the restaurant and at first, she seemed to try to brush it off due to being short staffed in their kitchen. I explained to her that I understood that but that was no reason for a unprofessional response by her manager to my inquiry. I told her I understand staffing issues, I work with a staff as well, but this is not a excuse to act unprofessional with customers. The owner did end up giving us two free desserts due to the incident, but it felt like this was done just to get rid of me, more than being empathetic to how the manager was treating a paying patron of her restaurant. Service was super slow at the restaurant and the way I was treated by the manager, will insure that we will not be frequenting the...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePlaced a carryout order for a couple salads, sandwiches and apps. Food was okay. Cheesesteak and stingers were probably the best of what we ordered. The crabcakes had very little flavor, but the sauce they included helped give them a bit more panache. The wait time was 25 minutes longer than they told me it would be. Now, in all fairness, the power went out for about 40 seconds and that occurred about 3 minutes after I walked in. I was told 25-30 minutes on the phone. I arrived roughly 27 minutes later. It was storming like crazy, so I was soaked to the bone just going in to get my food. Not their fault I ordered before a big storm. However, having to wait an extra 25 minutes (past the 30 min estimate I was given) to get my food, get back home and finally get to peel off my wet clothing was really annoying. A couple of the staff members checked with me a few times, said they'd check on my food for me, but then I guess they became distracted by whatever leak was occurring due to the storm. I understand that there was a lot going on during my visit and that those factors played a part. That's why I'm trying to be fair with a 4 star review. If it wasn't for the storm briefly knocking out the power (not sure if they had to wait for fryers or grill to turn back on) and them experiencing a leak during height of said storm, I'd probably be giving a 3-star or...
