Came in earlier today to celebrate a birthday with my family and, as always, had an absolutely lovely time.
The seating is self-seated and initially we headed straight for the back corner-our usual location when we come in-and one of the ladies working had recommended that instead we try a larger table as we were a group of 5 and that table may have become a bit tight for us. This was a very good suggestion that I ended up being very grateful for!
Our server was an absolute sweetheart. I have a bit of difficulty hearing in restaurants and it's no fault of anyone's but I believe he said his name was Trevor. He was extremely attentive and patient with us, and made the visit very pleasant and easy. He covered all of the bases with regards to questions-asked us very clearly if we needed anything removed and/or how we preferred something be made- and was extra considerate when I mentioned not being a fan of eggs and that I would be handing them off to my sibling (he made a point to place them further from me on the table when they were brought out, which was extremely sweet and definitely didn't go unnoticed). If I were to list out every detail, we'd be here all day, but ultimately he was a huge help and was very much appreciated!
The food is always wonderful but it really is the folks working there that make this such a good place to visit-and why I wanted to make extra certain to write up a review once I returned home...
Read moreWhen I asked locals for a good placed to have breakfast, Kelley's was suggested because of the portions. This proved to be the case when I actually showed up. This restaurant is definitely more focused on quantity than they are quality. I ordered the steak and eggs with a MR steak and over medium eggs. At almost $20 for this meal, I would have expected the steak to be cooked more correctly for MR and to have some type of seasoning. That was not the case. The steak was clearly well done and while I'm a minimalist in seasoning on steaks, they could have tried a little harder. The hashbrowns I ordered were supposed to have cheddar cheese on them, however the waitress forgot to add it. This, however, was fortunate given the fact that the hasbrowns were burnt and had only the flavor of burnt oil and potatoes. If you're hungry and not worried about price or taste, this is your place. Having said that the people were very sweet. Also, on the facility front, I attempted to sit at one of the booths and apparently the table was missing a foot and I almost ended up wearing my OJ and Coffee. Just not a great...
Read moreOur server, the quality of the meal, the service, the speedy delivery of our ordered items, all of it, top notch. This ain't our first time here, nor our second, third, or fourth, and it ain't going to be our last either.
Some of the best chicken fried steak around, great breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. You can't go wrong here.

Went back again after having to head out of town. Decided on a whim to stop in and get some early lunch because it was going to be a long day. Had the Super Big Texas Sized Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. It took about, I kid you not, 4 minutes for these 2 HUGE steaks to come out, practically still sizzling. The waitress was on point, asking if I needed anything without hovering, the mashed potatoes were amazing, the gravy homemade, and the green beans weren't overly salty and had a great smokey flavor to them. All of it was delicious and served in a ridiculously fast time, and of course, as always, was extremely delicious.
Can't recommend this place enough for breakfast or lunch. Haven't been there for dinner yet, but one of...
