La pasadita — Restaurant in Amarillo

Specializing in burritos and menudo, this place is a great find. It's a simple operation. Order at the window, take a seat, enjoy your food, pay. I ordered a bacon, egg, cheese, bean, potato burrito. It's not too big or small...just right. Drinks are pre-bottled and canned, cup and ice available.

As I sat to dine in, no less than 20 folx came in for to go orders. Their maximum wait was 3 minutes for orders which were called in ahead.

Dining in is at picnic tables, nicely set. Table service provided for dine in.

Window service was friendly. English & Spanish spoken here. I did not see a bathroom, but also didn't ask.

Don't be discouraged when you drive up to the Pasadita and see long lines like this, trust me its worth the wait! If your'e looking for authentic Mexican food whether it's a Burrito, Torta, Mendo or Pozole for the hangover this is the place to go to! Orders placed are typically as large as mine and with them providing fresh warm food you can understand why people patiently wait. It's not just there food that has earned my business the staff there is humble always super friendly and welcoming one of many reasons why I will keep supporting this...

This is currently my favorite Mexican food restaurant in Amarillo. It started out as a to go restaurant only but now features a small seating area with indoor and some outdoor seating. The burritos are excellent, because the flavors used in the meats and the fillings are so authentic and remind me of the flavors we have enjoyed in several cities in Mexico.
