Mitch's Texas Style BBQ — Restaurant in Amarillo

First off I'd give a 0 if I could. My problem is w/ the Mitch's bque at TNT. We ordered a near $70 order on Friday, June 20 for delivery. Problem is it was never delivered. I called and talked to Alex and he basically told me it wasn't their problem. This was an hour after I'd ordered and it was supposed to be a 20 min delivery. I asked to speak to the mgr and he has a lady (didn't catch her name) call me, and she proceeds to treat me like I'm an idiot that's never ordered food before, even though I order UberEats at least 5-6 times a week so I'm pretty sure I know how this works. Anyway, first time I've ever had people make me feel so stupid and actually cry on the phone. I just wanted (and still want, because I don't have it) my money back. I've called back up there and have been assured it's been taken care of (again, like I'm an idiot that's never had a return on a card) oh it'll take several days, yes I know but it shouldn't take this long. What happened was, y'all ate my food and kept my money. I'm so furious w/ TNT and Mitch's. I will never set foot in either one again and I'll tell everyone I know not to do the same. Visiting from Vegas and just by walking in to pick up my order I knew the food wasn’t going to taste like real southern bbq. No grill smoke, no bbq smell nothing. The Ribs were ok but lacked flavor and so did the brisket but let me tell you I can tell they use liquid smoke because it’s so overpowering it’s overwhelming to eat after a few bites.

The chips were good and crispy.

The potato salad tastes like I’ve had it before from Walmart or Albertsons, definitely not made in house. It’s store bought.

The Mac & Cheese is thick and too peppery tasting.

The banana pudding is the best thing there!

Overall it’s not worth the price and I’m highly disappointed for this being my first bbq spot I try out here.

Worst BBQ in Amarillo! We should have turned around when we ordered slices brisket . The dope taking our order told us the sliced brisket was RUFF today! So we took chopped which was burnt dried up brisket that should have been thrown in the trash! He chopped it up grabbed it with his gloved hand squeezed it and plopped it on the plate. The ribs weren’t cooked enough you could not even get the meat off the bone! The sausage was cold! The iced tea was good though!!!! Won’t be back to any of the Mitch’s Crap Cooking!!!!!! So...
