I was very unsatisfied with the woman taking our money at the window. It says on my receipt here that her name was Viktoria. Well let me tell you about Viktoria’s absolute inability to count right, ironic as it is the only quality a person at the drive through window needs to have other than a passably nice attitude. She can do neither.
When given the exact change, which by the way I had counted three times while waiting for my turn in the drive through line. Now I know things get hectic but this lady counts my exact change and proceeds to have an attitude saying you only gave me 29 dollars and 30 cents. She’s told she’s incorrect that I had the 34 dollars correctly, “No way I just counted and its the 34.” She proceeds to count my money through and I can see her miss counting a whole 5. She then looks at me and the attitude increases “No it’s 29 dollars and 30 cents.” Which is getting ridiculous because the change amount she’s giving me is also VERY WRONG. Now I’ll point out that the bill is 34.33. I’ve given this non bright crayon 34.35. That’s right she’s looking at the change and miscounting this as well. Wow really scraped the barrel hiring this one. “You gave me 29.30, it’s 34,” she states with more increasing attitude. At this point I have had it with your inability to count ANYTHING. I ask for the bills back and proceed to count it SLOWLY in front of her. That’s right low and behold it’s the exact 34 dollars I had counted out correctly prior to this snappy exchange. She rolls her eyes while taking it back, counts it and O WOW now she can get it. After this no apology for VIKTORIA’s rude behavior. She snappily slides the window closed, gets the bag of the food and just kinda slams it at us like get your stuff and go. Eyes on roll the WHOLE TIME. I’m curious is it often part of your hiring policy to NOT make sure that basic math is a skill these folks have. And then to not even have the courtesy to say sorry for your mistake, your mistake that you made three times in a row by and by, and then to give me attitude like it’s all my fault. It’s not my fault your annoyed with whatever has annoyed you so keep that up your clap trap. And it’s not my fault that your school failed you or you failed school so don’t make your counting issues mine. If you know that’s a weakness then get your busted self over to the fryer and dip stuff all day instead of giving me lip. We’ve been to Raising Canes a couple of times as one just opened up in our city. I will NOT be going back to a place where the customer service is so. I realize mistakes happen, a little laugh and a gosh oopsy would’ve sent me on my way like gee things happen. But this girls rudeness at me for her own mistake is ridiculous. And to be barking at me “you just gave me 29” “you just gave me 29” “you just gave me 29”. WRONG. You just can’t count anything apparently. Please check your employees counting skills and maybe give them a crash course in sorry. Not really entirely on you’ll but now it is as I’ll be telling everyone to avoid this place if they want to avoid a...
Read moreI have raised my review from 1 star to 3 star because the main management of this establishment and people further up the chain have taken actions to attempt to fix the following situation. However, I feel I should leave the incident for others to see. It is as follows; My son, my employee, and myself went here for supper. My employee tried to ask an employee about raising canes sauce when she ignored him. She then went into the kitchen area and told all the workers there that both my son and employee asked for her number. At this time the boys working there began trying to cause a confrontation with my son and employee. My employee left without eating his food. My son began picking up his food and mine so we could leave. At that point another employee came over and preceded to tell my child he better quit asking for her number. I had to make my child leave to keep a fight from happening. Only 1 employee of raising canes ever tried to ask what ever actually happened. I have brought many a client and employee to this particular establishment and now do not feel comfortable doing so again. I suggest that no one else go...
Read moreI live in East Texas so I was pretty excited to see that Amarillo has a canes now. The food is the best part. My issue was with the service behind the counter. The girl taking mine and my family’s order yawned the whole time, picked at her face and just showed poor customer service. The other girl behind the counter just looked at us and didn’t even offer to take our order. Both girls moved so slow and acted like we were a burden to them. I get it, fast food isn’t the most exciting place to work but you work in the public so common courtesy would be nice. We also ordered our food to-go and when it came out in baskets I asked girl 2 if she could please box them up because they were supposed to be to-go. She looked and me and slowly placed the food in the window for the kitchen staff to put it in boxes. Thankfully the manager saw and quickly placed them in boxes for us. Moral of the story, great food and as far as I can tell, good management. Just not so much on the two behind...
