Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Amarillo

I have never been to a scooters before so I didn't know what to expect. I did make the assumption that they were cheaper than Starbucks, but not really.

Maybe I am cheap, but 16 bucks for 2 small drinks and a cinnamon roll just seems a bit much.

Service was as expected and appreciated, and it was quick.

But overall I'd recommend it as a Starbucks alternative albeit costs about the same.

One thing to note, the entrance on 34th, if you enter from there, you need to keep right and not go left as it is on coming customers. I don't remember seeing a sign...

Coffee is extremely weak. It's pretty much sugar and water, and extremely over priced. I usually make my own coffee however this morning I was pinched for time so I tried this place and it was obviously a bad decision. I assume people that are social butterfly's, or keeping up with the Robinsons and the obese enjoy this type of product. Definitely not a blue collar, in shape worker establishment. Will not be back. I shall go without if ever faced with the same choice again. You'd be better off getting gas...

Update: The owner contacted me, and we chatted (so nice when owners actually read and care about reviews). The first time I went must have been a bad day. Hubby and I went on Saturday (thanks for the love for Vetrans), and I tried the hot chocolate again. The girls at the window were amazing and the hot chocolate was great! I don't know what hubby gets, but he enjoyed his also. We had our dogs with us, and they got a treat also. My new hot...
