I ordered a BOGO footlong. One steak & cheese(for me), & one cold cut combo(for a friend). I took extra time to get there(so they could be sure to have time to make it) and when I arrived, I was told that they didn't have the steak&cheese. I was old that they had tried to call, to which I said that I wish that they would have called me, because I would have canceled the order. I just didn't really want anything else. I tried to find an easy way out, but I just want in the mood for anything else. Finally, I allowed the girl to call the manager, and I was told I could have the $3 back (the price that I paid minus the full price cost of the cold cut combo). I explained that that really wasn't fair, as the cold cut combo was an after thought, really just a free sandwich for a friend. I was going to be left with $3 to find dinner for myself. It just didn't seem like that was the right answer. I think that they(well, her... The manager... The employee was really nice and trying to help) should have given me the cold cut combo for half price, since it wasn't my fault that they were out of their most expensive product. Finally, I decided to get the meatball sub for another friend. It was cheaper than the cold cut combo, so guess what... I got the footlong meatball, the footlong cold cut combo, and... The $3 that they had originally offered me, since they screwed up their food order. Let me put out another way... Hey, you tried to order or most expensive item(great for them, too raise their ticket average), and our cheapest sandwich(for free, as per their deal/again good for them, because I could have gotten any sandwich on the menu for free, including another steak and cheese, but instead I opt for the cheapest), but we are out of the expensive item. Therefore, we are going to charge you full price for the cheap sandwich, that you really didn't even want, but got to be nice to a friend. We will give you the difference, which won't even give you enough money for half of a sandwich somewhere else... We know that our is our fault, but we want you to pay for that mistake...
Me: Wow, that seems really unfair to me... I am kinda screwed... Well, I can't win here, so... Let me hook up another friend.... Hey look at that, I got another sandwich, and the $3 you were already going to give me in the first place... I would have just taken half off of one sandwich, but you insisted that I pay for your mistake, and... Well, somehow paying for your mistake ended up helping another friend and I still got my $3... Thanks! The employee was really a champ through all...
Read moreI placed an online order for two footlong sandwiches and a footlong cookie for a 4:30 PM pickup on Saturday. When I arrived, I was informed that I was lucky cuz I got the last two loaves of bread in the store (at 4:30!), and they had no more to bake. Meanwhile, they still had tickets for three other orders but no bread to fulfill them. Instead of notifying customers, it seemed like they were just waiting for people to show up and leave empty-handed.
Our bread was stale, and we had to microwave the sandwiches just to make them edible. As for the footlong cookie I paid $5 for online, they don't have those and couldn’t issue a refund. In fact, they have never had any of the footlong items that Subway advertises. (What?!) Instead of a refund that they said they couldn't give, I was reluctantly given a couple of regular cookies (which the worker almost dropped on the floor) and two bags of chips.
On top of that, the main worker felt the need to share how he had fired and hired four people in one day last week, while four other employees stood around. As the main dude tried to shove the chip bags into a narrow sandwich bag that already held 2 sandwiches barely, crushing them in the process, I had to ask him to stop smashing the chips (Really?).
The whole experience was bizarre. There was only one other person in the store — a girl sitting at a table with a baby, who appeared to be the “baby mama” another reviewer mentioned.
This was hands down the worst Subway experience I’ve ever had. I will never go back — do yourself a favor and find...
Read moreBy far the slowest and most frustrating service ever! Ordered online. Got to subway. Called the number on the window it said for them to bring it out. I never got an answer. Then I wait outside for the line inside to go down some. There were too many people inside. 20 minutes passed and I go in there it’s one worker moving super slow! He has a lady and her child’s order that’s it. Then I’m waiting inside while it’s burning hot! With no ac! No air coming thru I’m sweating for another 20 minutes. Just to get to the counter for the worker to tell me he doesn’t have my online order ready that was supposed to be ready 40 minutes ago not including the 20 minutes the online order gave. So over an hour! While I watch him move slow. I get it’s hot. But he misses a few veggies on my sub and as I tried to tell him he says “it wasn’t on there” which it was because I put it in myself. And if it wasn’t I’m telling you now! Then all that time waiting for him to tell me he didn’t have my 2 sugar cookies when he could’ve been making some while I was waiting over an hour! Just so frustrating and I will NOT be back! He stopped to wipe his sweat twice it shouldn’t be that hot inside for employees anyways. SOMETHING...
