Taco Villa — Restaurant in Amarillo

To start off I just want to say that I love taco villa! Most of my experiences have been on the level of great 👍, we eat here 1-2x a week, and have only had a few times that we had to request to speak to a manager about our order I love every single item that is on the menu I usually stick with just the combo burritos and crunchy tacos 🌮, can never go wrong with this combination, and make sure you ask foe extra hot sauce 😋 or pico de gallo We sometimes dine in and the place is always well kept, from tables being cleaned to the outside area, the workers have always been friendly, never had any attitude from anyone, if we did need the assistance of a manager, they were always calm,collective, and handled the situation in a professional manner!! The food, in opinion, tastes great, lots of menu options , and most of the time the amount of portions you get on the inside is at maximum capacity, or it's always full , not a smidgen of this and that But I can't think of a single menu item that is overrated or should be avoided, I personally will eat just about anything from here! Don't forget about dessert either, the apple burritos are on point 👌 and delicious 😋 I know alot of friends and family that come in from out of town, this is the first place they go, even before meeting up with family That should tell you something right there!! I can not ever get good customer service from these females. They chose to mess up my order then put her hand in my face when I asked where the rest of my burrito was. I don’t know why I keep giving them Chances much less my hard earned money only for them to upset me and not even give one care in the world at all. 20yrs ago this kind of service would have NEVER been allowed working for Bobby Cox, it’s so sad what these places have turned into, just reminds me where all The CUSTOMER service went. Came through the drive-thru last week and it was a 30-minute wait because there was a problem with the quesadilla grill. They gave me a $10 gift card due to the wait, and I thought "okay that's cool, I'll give them another try in the future."

Fast forward to today, I go and use my gift card and I get home only to find out that they gave me somebody else's order, which was just a burrito. The worst part, was that there was a small piece of clear plastic that looked like it came from the corner of a bag of cheese or something. This was INSIDE the burrito. Yuck!

Gave them two chances, and they messed it up both times, so I definitely won't be coming back.
