The manager is so rude and it's unbelievable that any professional establishment would employ someone to represent the yesway company, all employees are representatives, but it's a total different story when the "manager." I have worked retail and have been store manager myself, and I guarantee you, that any reputable company I've worked for or any I've given my business too, would never ever be ok with any manager or employee for that matter, behaving in the manner that she does there at yesway. I'm starting to wonder why she is still there, is her conduct towards customers something that the yesway company condones, or does the DM or RD..ignore it ..? Maybe it needs to be addressed further on up the ladder. All I know is that I'm from Amarillo, and I remember her attitude before..and I'm back visiting my daughter who lives there , and I go into yesway, and wow.. there she is! And same rudeness and same attitude. We went in and it was 9:40 pm..and it pissed her off that we came in !!! I guess cuz she was ready to leave. We'll 2 days later, i went in to get ice.. in cups..and she said in a loud, and threatening voice, that all I could get was 2 cups of ice??? I mean, I wasn't going to get more than that, but what in the world??? Are you kidding me?? What does it matter how many cups I get?? If I'm a paying customer?????? Why would yesway put a limit of 2 cups?? I can't believe it..but not only that, she yelled over to me while she was standing at the register. And a customer was standing there in front of her and he looked over at me..and shook his head!! Wow.. this time around.. I'm not stopping with a review. I'm going to get answers. The rudeness and unprofessional behavior that's displayed in that store..is too the point of something being filed. I may need to get a petition going and get all customers to sign it.!!!! Read moreThis used to be a pretty decent place but it has gone downhill fast in the last couple months. The gas pumps only print receipts 1 out of 20 times. I'm talking about on a daily basis, too, because I have to fuel up multiple vehicles daily. Because of that I've started going to other places more often. They got new trash cans with window washing stations and it took nearly three weeks for anyone to put water in them so they could be used. Also, the employees are generally preoccupied with their phones or with each other any time after about noon. Earlier in the day doesn't seem to be much of an issue.
