Alley Katz Unique Emporium — Local services in Amarillo

I could not in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. Some antique malls advertise ,new, craft and antiques. I walked around and found several items that you could go to hobby lobby and buy for cheaper but you know its from china. As I was leaving I asked the 2 old ladies if they monitored or the items their vendors bring in? One got very defensive and asked what I was talking about I mentioned is saw the tags on a few items that said made in china that are from hobby lobby. I started if I were the owner I would like to know, she said well your not the owner. I explained ed that I am the customer and as the owner you are advertising Antiques and putting new items mixed in and trying to pass them off. Another customer chimed in "and that's misrepresentation". The owner was so riled up and that was not my intent I simply discarded what i was going to buy and explained as a customer i couldn't trust the quality of the goods and i was going to leave empty handed. SIMPLY; BUYER BE AWARE, and THE OWNER...

I am completely appalled by the blatant disrespect and disregard that the owner Cindy has showed. My cousin was placed in the hospital for an aneurysm that ruptured and just barely woke up a week ago Cindy personally talked to me and allowed me to put a donation bucket at her store and upon checking for donations on four separate occasions I find the bucket underneath the counter or in the middle with no customer can see it and then going up there to retrieve donations the last time today we find that Cindy has thrown the bucket and the flyer away. I have done so much business over the last 15 years with Alley cats and some of the vendors and to be treated that way is disgusting and Alley cats will be forever treated like the trash that they are. You stand for nothing Cindy. May your family find peace and happiness and learn to not treat the lower class below you like they...

Incredible amount of stuff under one roof. We spent a couple hours there and ran out of time. They have a little something for just about everyone. Books, music, trinkets, jewelry and so much more! Everyone that was working there was absolutely wonderful from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Bought a couple of delicate items and they wrapped them up and handled them with care.
