Horrible experience and cake. I ordered a cake from them and it was sooo bland, no flavor whatsoever and was definitely NOT worth the money. The place is not professional at all, its dingy and looks like where a borderline hoarder would live, not a bakery. When I walked in I was so confused and thought I was in the wrong place. They have a bunch of random old dusty knickknacks like old things you'd find at a garage sale and it's all extremely overpriced just like their baked goods. I'm talking half used old nail polishes for like 2-3 bucks, a dull old used knife for like $9, etc. The lady there that served me wasnt friendly at all and it didnt feel like she wanted to be there. I was super excited to go there and order some of their baked goods I saw on google reviews but when I got there I was so underwhelmed at the extremely low choices of pastries. I figured itd be something like Kretchmars or any other normal bakery with a bunch of different delicious desserts and pastries but they only had like 6-7 different things so I ended up not ordering anything but the cake which I now regret. The cake was worse than the worst boxed cake mix and the icing wasnt great at all. I've never had a more unflavorful, tasteless cake. It actually went to waste because everyone that ate it only had a few bites and then didnt finish it because it had such a strange 'fermented like' taste to it. So we had to throw away more than half the cake because it just wasnt good at all. I'd never order from this place ever again, such a disappointing experience all the way from the environment, the customer service to their actual baked product. Definitely DO NOT recommend this place unless you want a crappy tasteless cake along with an old crusty dusty expensive used knickknack for your Great...

Unassuming from the outside, it is a small bakery with plenty to offer in the form of homemade baked goods, as well as some candy thrown in for good measure. We enjoyed their maple pastry and they delicious cinnamon roll.
The baker was a bit rearranged from the movie - no big deal - and the service was super friendly and answered our questions on when they came to tape for the movie. It was a fun stop and their baked goods are...
Read moreThe owner of Stangl's, Lorianne, is fantastic. Her sense of humor is great and she is always willing to help you out in any way that she can, especially with orders. My donuts were delicious and the aroma was very pleasant. Stangl's has been in this business for awhile so you can be assured that they know exactly what they're doing. I highly recommend...
