This is an amazing place. Period. Thai Village is located in a old house off of Main in American Fork. If you want the best Thai Curry in the Wasatch Front/I-15 corridor, this is the place to come. The food here is amazing, especially the curry. The Pineapple Curry is probably the favorite of my family. It sweet and delicious and especially for those who may be sensitive to spicy, is definitely one I recommend because it is not spicy at all. I have also tried the Penang and Masaman Curry and both are very delicious. The noodles and rice are cooked to perfection every time we go and the Cream Cheese Wontons were perfectly crisp. My wife and I can usually eat here for around $30 for lunch after a tip depending on what we order. There are many options if Curry isn't your thing. Check out their menus on their website to see what else they have. The parking lot is a bit small, so there may be some street parking required, and it is not really accessible as the building is super old. Just a heads up, going to the upstairs room can be a bit of a headache if your tall! Watch your head going up and down the stairs. Don't worry though, it's well signed that there is a low ceiling over the stairs. The staff is excellent and very friendly. The upstairs rooms are nice because they are in bedrooms and are great if you want a quiet lunch or dinner with a special someone. Great for small to medium sized gatherings of people. The max limit in the building is 69 people I believe.

I had high hopes for this Thai restaurant, but unfortunately, it fell short in almost every way. The restaurant is set in a charming old house, which gives it a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to the setting. The food was fine but nothing memorable—just your average, run-of-the-mill dishes that lacked any real wow factor. While the presentation of each dish was very lovely, the food was bland and uninspired—lacking the bold flavors and freshness that make Thai cuisine so great. There were a lot of servers milling about behind the counter which made it feel chaotic and disorderly. There were very eager to bring water to the tables but seemed very confused and not very knowledgable about the food itself. What really ruined the experience for me was the older woman, clearly in charge, who came out to look around the dining area and noticed a table with 4 people who were done eating. She asked if they were waiting for something. It was not done in a way to see if they needed anything, but more in a way to let them know it was time to go. The table was clearly uncomfortable and got up to leave. They had been enjoying their time but it was halted immediately to scoot them out the door. Very rude. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience, but it wasn’t terrible either. If you’re looking for a nice place to sit and chat, the ambiance is a plus, but don’t expect to be able to sit a while.

We really liked Thai Village and we will probably come here again. We tried the cream cheese won tons (yum)and chicken satay (nothing to write home about). My hubby got the Red Curry and I got the Mango Jungle Curry (pictured, which was so good!!), the chicken was a little dry in the curry, you could tell it hadn't been cooked in the sauce, but added before serving, but was still okay. My hubby's dish came out significantly after mine, which was a little frustrating. You could tell they were short staffed and it especially showed in the upkeep of their business, but I don't mind that if the food is good. Overall we are adding it to our list of Thai restaurants we enjoy, hopefully they can hire more help to accommodate busier nights (we went on a Monday evening).

We went to celebrate my sister-in-laws birthday and were not very happy with the experience. I felt the food was okay, but nothing to write home about. The worst part was the service. We did have a large group of 12, but we went early about 4:30 pm to avoid the dinner rush and make it easier since we had our large group. The atmosphere and location was a lot of fun and were really excited when the night started, but it just went down hill from there.

We had a dish that the Shrimp was the protein of the dish, and the description talked about shrimp being in the dish throughout. We only got 2 shrimp on both plates and that was very disappointing especially when you have to pay extra to get the shrimp as well, but only got 2.

They forgot my mother's dish and we had to tell two different people before they were able to put the order in to get her food. Many of our dishes came with rice and they gave us two large rice bowls for the whole table which worked except for my mom. Her dish came about 25 minutes after everybody else had received their's and we asked before they brought it if we can get hot rice because her dish came with rice as well and wanted fresh rice with it. They then charged my mother extra for the rice when it was part of her dish.

The attitude of our server was the worst part. She acted bothered when we let her know that my mother hadn't received her food. When she brought my mom's food she had a huge attitude about it and rolled her eyes at us like we had lied about it. By the time my mom got her dinner we all just wanted to leave and didn't even want to eat it after the way the waitress acted. The waitress acted annoyed at us and seemed frustrated that she had to do her job. I know that nobody in my family will visit here again after...

My BF loves the food at this place, I however, have never gotten to try it despite multiple attempts to. The first time, we checked google and it said the restaurant was open- so we tried to call in for a take out order. The phone was never answered, but google still said it was open, so we drove over to order there, thinking the phone wasn’t working. They were closed. Obviously, that happens, but posted business hours should be updated as often as possible. We’ve talked about going a few times since then, but they’ve always been closed, although this time we knew they would be closed- so that’s ok because we can’t expect a business to accommodate just because too people want some curry lol. But, today, we went over again during the business hours according to google. In the middle of the day, on the weekday. Generally, most restaurants are open unless specifically posted otherwise on their hours. We pull up, my boyfriend was excited for some good Thai food, and there is a paper sign saying that the restaurant is closed for lunch and will be back at 5 pm. I am just so confused, if you work weird hours, that’s your business, but can they at least be posted so people aren’t trying to eat there only to find out they can’t, it’s closed? I have firmly decided that no matter how good the food I haven’t tried is, I’m never going to attempt to come to this restaurant again. When I’m hungry I want to eat, I don’t want to think I’ll have the food I want available only to find out that’s a lie and there is no...
