I have used papa johns many times for company meals and this time would have been no different than any other time or so i thought. I placed the order online at 11:30am, email stated that delivery would be 30-40 and that is what i expected. After an hour and still had not been delivered. So i called the store and spoke with a very angry person on the phone. All i wanted to know was how much longer till i would receive our food. I was told it would be 2 hrs and that i would get it when i got it. So i asked if it was ready and i would just come pick it up, was told it was in a delivery car and and i should see it in about an hour. So the call was ended as i was getting now where with the lady i was talking to. So the food finally showed up about 1:15pm after further inspection of food it was all cold. The driver was very apologetic for the delivery time as they were busy and i understand that as i am a store manager for a retail store in ames as well and i felt that i was treated terrible with very poor customer service. Just a simple phone call stating that they were busy and delivery time would be slow could have fixed the problem all together. Read moreVery old lettuce that gave my wife and I food poisoning!!! We orded afew pizza's from this location. One of the pizzas was a Taco pizza. We both ate 2 slices and afew hours later got very sick . We started vomiting with an upset stomach. The next day we were still both filling sick so I started checking the pizza because that was the last thing we ate. Found that the pizza had old brown lettuce on it that looked as it was in the molding stage. I contacted Papa Johns to let them know the issue that happened andtold them I could bring the pizza back in. They said not to and that they would contact the district manager. So I recieved a call back and they said the lettuces expied a week ago. They said they could only refund one pizza back. Read moreI am very upset with this location. I have had a rewards account with them now for years, and my family orders almost weekly. I recently made a purchase over $100 for an event, food was on time and it was produced correctly. However, I was charged a duplicate amount onto my account that has been pending now for almost a week and all I have gotten is a simple "Sorry" without any offer of reprimand or resolve to this issue. I called two days ago to speak to a manager, never got a call back so I called again today and was still side stepped by the manager and was only able to speak to a team member that told me "Sorry, you'll just have to wait up to two weeks to have access to your funds." No effort is coming out of that team to help me gain access to my funds of over $100, and I'm very disappointed in the lack of care or empathy...
