We saw the ad on Facebook. The food looked great in the pictures We drove 35 miles one way to try it my mom actually insisted to go there for her birthday. We arrived at the restaurant before they even said hello or welcome in …they told us the food will take 30 minutes to get ready in a away that was supposed to be encouraging to leave NOT to stay. Nevertheless, we agreed and we decided to go for a little walk around until the food is ready. when we returned, we sat down still waiting for the food. The restaurant is super quiet, no Arabic music or any kind of music. It was just a dead silent.. not even TV to keep customers occupied while waiting for the food when the food finally arrived. It was absolutely terrible. It has nothing to do with shawarma it only had the looks but not the taste or the sauce or the seasoning absolutely terrible. The worst I ever had. I had a lot of bad ones but this one takes it all flavorless tasted old no seasoning. And the side of falafel tasted terrible as well.. we paid about $46 for two meals absolutely not worth it and I will not recommend this place at all. There’s a bunch of decent places around this area the money you pay versus the atmosphere ,customer service and food quality does not match at all. I think their main focus is catering and walk in Customers are just after...
Read moreI took my family there for iftar during Ramadan, and what a disaster. Apparently, you have to go there to argue and deal with utterly incompetent employees. First, their advertised coupon doesn’t even work. I asked a simple question about it, and the guy went completely ballistic—rude, aggressive, and downright insufferable. He had the audacity to get mad at me because their coupon was wrong! The irony? He could barely speak English but had the nerve to claim we didn’t understand English because we didn’t know what “$12 off” meant. He kept insisting it meant the meal was $12, while the coupon clearly stated $12 off. Enough was enough. I turned around, took my family, and walked out. I don’t have time for that kind of incompetence or his pathetic attitude. Let’s be clear: the coupon wasn’t even the issue. I didn’t go there for it, and it was the last thing on my mind. The real problem was his toxic attitude and his complete inability to communicate. I’m done tolerating this kind of garbage. No more patience for...
Read moreWe ordered the beef Shawarma and a side of falafel with spicy garlic dipping sauce. The falafel was hard rather than crisp. Not the best falafel we’ve had but not bad. The shawarma was tender and tasty. We’d come back for this for sure.
Took away a star for service. The lady at the front wasn’t friendly at all, not rude but not friendly. I mentioned it was our first time here and we were excited to try the food, to which she said,”ok.” Then I asked what the Abu Omar Sauce was and she replied,”it’s sauce.” When I sat outside to wait for our food she made a comment that made my partner felt unwelcome as well. When we went in to return our trays we heard her speak to other customers in a welcoming tone and even if told them to let her know if they needed anything. Not sure what we did though.
Either way, sandwich was great and we’ll be back next time we’re...
