What a hidden gem this place is! Masala Curry can accommodate EVERYONE in your party because they have offerings for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters. As a vegan, it is sometimes difficult to find a place my husband and I can both eat well, one of us usually suffers from lack of options...but not anymore!
We visited today for my birthday lunch and were blown away by how fresh and delicious everything was! There was a very nice selection of tasty dishes in the buffet, and while I can't eat near enough to take advantage of an all you can eat buffet, I really enjoyed the fact that we could try SO many of their curries in one shot. Do you like naan? Their garlic naan is OUTSTANDING, best I've ever had.
My husband had only ever had Indian food once before, and he LOVED it (the Chicken Tikka Masala REALLY impressed him) and said this was our new favorite restaurant to visit on busy nights when there's no time to make dinner. YAY!! I love Indian food and am ecstatic to have found this unassuming little place.
Fast and nice service, as a matter of fact, I told the owner (?) Anoo it was our first time there and he went to the back and whipped me up a little treat of spiced potatoes that were not on the menu. Who does that?? I haven't been this thrilled with a restaurant and its customer service in years, maybe decades. Everything was SO fresh and SO delicious, and did I mention the garlic naan??? I can't wait to go back and eat there again. Thanks Anoo for an...
Read moreThe one star is only because I love the food. I drive from Buena Park to this area neighboring Yorba Linda. I spent over $60 for lunch and waited a long time to get the food to go, while waiting in the seating area a kid comes running barefoot from the back. He ends up by the buffet bar and register where there is a pen and paper. He gets the paper and pen and starts hopping all over the benches touching on the pre set tables and chairs for dine in guests. He’s going from table to table out there and writing on his papers then comes near where we are sitting and slides a paper over to my son who about the same age as him. The note reads “I’ll kill you”!! I ask for the parent of the child and it turns out to be the chefs child. He barely even addressed the note to the child. He only told me he’s so sorry and blamed it on learning it from YouTube or school. Then I continue to wait on my food and the kid comes out again and calls my kids stupid..
We were only just sitting there patiently waiting out food that we drove 25 mins for. I used to live in YL and this was my favorite place to eat at. I’ll never come back here again it went downhill!

Read moreThis was okay food for the price. I’ve had better Indian food for a lot less. I didn’t love it but I didn’t hate it- it was average. My girlfriend and I came here on a Friday night around 630 and we opted for the menu instead of the buffet since there were more vegan options on the actual menu. We ordered the Chana Masala, Aloo Gobi, Roti and the flavored rice (forgot the actual name). For me, the Chana Masala had a bit too much of the tomato flavor and gave it a sweet, ketchup taste- but I still put it down. The rice was very good and so was the roti and aloo gobi. If we come back then we’ll both get the buffet.
Getting to the inside- pretty modern atmosphere with good Indian music. Plenty of seating and great for families. It definitely has the vibe of a carry out restaurant, nothing too fancy on the inside.
Staff: extremely helpful and nice. They even took their time marking all of their vegan items on their menu for us, this was extremely helpful and made ordering so much easier. Staff checked on us several times for our needs and satisfaction- thank you very much!
Overall: I might come back if I was in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here. Would I recommend this to a friend? Possibly, but it wouldn’t be my first option for them. In my opinion, for this being a carry out type restaurant I think the price of the food should be cheaper. I would recommend ordering the buffet since the menu items will add up...
