I love Carl's Jr.! Today sadly the service at this location was not great. The lady at the drive through was nice, only reason why I'm giving 3 stars. I got the new BBQ Riv burger since it's new, and I love trying out the new burgers. This burger doesn't come with cheese, so I paid extra for cheese. ( everything is fine )
I ended up parking to eat, and as I finish my first bite, I noticed there was no cheese in ther burger. Usually I never care , but I paid for the cheese so I figured I would go Inside and just ask to add cheese. ( since I did pay extra for it ) lol
So, I told the manager ( I think it was the manager ) and told her if they could just put cheese in my burger. She had like the biggest attitude lol and then asked if she could just give me a slice of cheese . I was like, in my hand ? Is there any way you can just put it in the burger? I gave her the box and still had this attitude.
So, the cook in the back was like, it came with cheese ? I could hear her all pissed off... finished like three other orders , I was there like ten minutes .
I didn't ask for a new burger, I just asked if they could just put a slice of cheese. So, after ten minutes she finally remakes the burger and literally throws it in the food rack area. The burger almost fell out of the box. The drive through lady gave me the burger finally and I told her, why is she so mad ? Lol I mean, it does say ( add cheese ) on the receipt . I paid for it.
She looked kind of puzzled and just said I don't know...
After that I just walked away and left .
I go back to my car and the meat was supppeeerrrr dry and she drenched the burger in BBQ sauce. Didn't even get to enjoy it.
Don't think I will be going back to this Carl's...

The Double Western sandwich my wife ordered was turned into a single patty, a half cooked onion ring, and a dollop of sauce, also squished onto two soggy, malformed buns.
Our two orders of criss-cut fries had to be left in a bucket of oil to soak up the gross flavor of "near vomit" as we could only describe. The crunch and flavor we expected was met by a wet, soggy, cardboard variant of fast food fries.
