Del Taco — Restaurant in Anaheim

Let me just start off with saying I work in fast food and I completely understand the struggle. I also understand how the front machines work. My sister simply wanted to make it easier for the young lady taking our order so she wouldn’t have to delete and go back and forth. She simply said “may I have a combo #9 with the burrito bold”. She was then interrupted with the question “what size. My sister tried to repeat it again informing her that the burrito was bold. The young lady again interrupted her. So my sister just answered with medium on the fries and a large Coke Zero. Then the lady said “so it’s a medium”. My sister repeated with medium fries and large Coke Zero. The young lady replies with “OH MY GOD!” Which was very rude. My sister was trying to make it easier for her. As we get to the front, the young lady hands her a coke cherry with the lid not properly sealed. Then when we got the order, they didn’t put any fries in the container. This place is extremely dirty. Before I ordered I asked for a restroom token I was given one. the restroom is completely filthy top to bottom, the floors were covered with water, there were feces on the wall it smelled like a sewer. I've watched enough prison shows/movies to guesstimate that this toilet was dirtier than the ones I've seen depicting filthy prison toilets. And last but not least, what prompted me to post this review is that there was no sign of soap in the dispenser. There was not even an empty plastic bag that used to hold the soap. I thought about how disgusting it is to eat there knowing that none of the employees have soap to wash their hands after using the toilet. That is the most disgusting thing in the world to me also hazardous to the health of anyone who eats here. I mentioned this to a manager and an employee and I'm sitting here waiting to see if anybody goes in to put any soap in, so far I have been here for about 10 minutes, no one's come to put soap in the dispenser. Why does this place have such good ratings? Whether it be drive-thru or walk-in service, I have had received more wrong orders than right. I'm not talking about wrong items in my bag, but they always charge the wrong price-- especially during their taco night promo. Almost every time I order their taco night promo (3 value tacos for 1.29 or 3 Del tacos for 3.29 on Tuesday, 3 chicken soft tacos for 2.29 on Thursday) they charge me full price! I give them benefit of the doubt at the window, but always check the receipt and have to correct them and go through the hassle of getting my change back in pennies and quarters.

I have had better experience when I walk-in and get a bad order, because the manager there is always on her feet and compensates me for the issue with an upgrade to my fry size. Nevertheless, how do they forget about their taco night pricing when it's...
