I've been coming to this location for many years. Since the pandemic has hit, the store has been very hit or miss on service and customer expectation. I usually always take a chance to go there on my lunch break if I think it is doable in a timely manner. Tonight I placed my order on the mobile app at 9: 57pm, the mobile app said it would be available by 10:10 p.m. . I pulled up to the establishment and waited until my time and then went up to the front door which was locked, I tried the other side door which was also locked... So instead I knocked on the door and three people inside looked at me and then looked away. I continued to stand there and knock and hold my mobile order up on my phone hoping someone will notice me over the Metallica music they have blaring in the lobby. A young man came to the door and told me I needed to use the front door so then I walked around back to the first door. Where again they all stared at me and did not open the door. After about 4 minutes of waiting the same young man comes back and tells me I now need to go to the other door. This sounds like a joke right, but it's not. I am now waiting at the second side door where he approaches me and tells me that they are not accepting mobile orders at this time and that I need to go thru the Drive-Thru. Mind you my mobile order has been ready for 7 minutes... You'd think he could have just handed it to me. I asked for the mangers name and the you man replied "one minute he's right here", locks the door and now I'm waiting again. I wait for another 2 minutes for the manager named Titus to come to the door and tell me that they are not taking mobile orders even though I questioned him why they're even accepting them in the first place. There is no signs on the door stating mobile orders need to be picked up through the drive-thru nor were they posted on their handwritten signs. He told me I still need to go wait in the Drive-Thru. I asked him if I could just simply get a refund he said I would also have to wait in the Drive-Thru line to get a refund. He said that I could also just call customer service and have them refund my money... I cannot believe the customer service I just experienced here. What a freaking joke! The time is now 10:36 and I've been waiting in line for 15 minutes just to get my coffee and go...
Read moreIt's a little itty bitty Starbucks Drive-Thru. Something to do with Starbucks latest initiatives of having bare-bones type locations that focus more on the drive-thru experience and less on the inside.
Oh don't get me wrong, there is an inside area, but as other reviewers have pointed out, it's small. Few tables. I didn't actually go inside as I used the Drive-Thru today, but just eyeballing from the outside, I can easily tell this isn't going to be my immediate go-to for "work from home" days. Unless, of course, the WiFi is super fast and there is a place to charge my laptop.
Anyway, came here to order a Tall Americano and a chocolate croissant. Like I mentioned earlier, I went through Drive-Thru. Was still able to pay with the Starbucks mobile app and got customer loyalty points in the process, which I guess convert to some reward like a free drink or pastry at some near point in the future.
Not going to lie, the Americano was weak. It was almost as if they used half a shot of one espresso and then topped it off with water, instead of using a full shot of espresso. I dunno, I've always known Starbucks to be fairly consistent with their drinks, but every place gets an off day, today seemed to be one of those days.
Bonus points because the barista that took my order had a British accent. Because you know, accents are supposedly cool...
Read moreOn Monday, February 13th at 730 p.m. I visited this location and ordered a Venti White chocolate Mocha at the drive thru and informed the female on the speaker that I would be redeeming a reward. Having been a recent rewards member redeeming for the the first time, I was not sure what to press in order to redeem my reward. We got to the window and the lady that helped us, that was wearing a plaid red shirt, pony tail with frizzy dark hair and no name tag, was extremely rude. I asked her nicely, "how do I redeem this?" and she gave us a blank stare and with an attitude replied "uhh .... you just press the button and click redeem." She kept talking to another employee that was standing behind her and completely ignored us. This is my favorite Starbucks location and I was completely surprised because all other employees are so welcoming and friendly. I am a person in my 20s with access to technology... since I could remember and could not figure out this app. I hope that employees are nice to other people in the future that may be older and understand that not everyone was born into the world of...
