Food is good when you come at the right time.
They've taken the taqueria de anda route and re-use leftovers from the previous night in the morning. That leftover meat doesn't taste good.
Prices have gone up three times in the last year. Tacos used to be $1.10. Now they're up to $1.80. Burritos used to be $5 or $6. Now, they're up to $10.20. The burritos are good. However, you're paying for beans and rice since they overdue those 2 things and cut short on the meat. I'd understand if they were packing the meat in the burrito. However, that's not the case. The higher the price, the less meat you get.
The price that really is ridiculous is their aguas "frescas." its not really aguas frescas they're made from concentrate and charge $4.00 for a small cup. Other places charge $2 or $3 but give you one of those big large cups.
You used to be able to get a small meal 2 tacos and a drink for under $5. Now you're spending about $9 for 2 tacos and an agua fresca. That's just robery at that point.
Overall, good tasting meat, overkill with the rice and beans on the burritos. Dont get meat in the mornings. that's all leftovers that do not taste good. Affordability wise, go somewhere that gives you more bank...

There's a reason that you can find a line stretching from the register to the sidewalk at virtually any time of the day or night. Great Food. Great Price. I don't recall anything on the menu for more than $5.50. I've (unfortunately) paid twice as much for Carne Asada Burritos that were half as good.
Most of the food is prepared right in front of the hungry, hungry customers by gentlemen whose hands break the sound barrier as they fly back and forth making tacos and other delectables. I could swear that I heard a couple of sonic booms.
Go! Go now. I'm serious. Get your lazy bones down there for a taco or ten. It's better than a DelMacTaco any day...
Read moreVisiting family and friends in the Anaheim, CA area and wanted some street tacos. I was told to try this place out for some good authentic Mexican street tacos. Upon entering the restaurant, an average person would have turned around because of the appearance but for a person that knows about cooking, the best eateries are the ones with the long lines. This place had a continuous flow of people placing orders. I decided to have the carne asada tacos and they were delicious. They could have added more condiments for the tacos because the only items available were onions, cilantro, cucumbers, chili and sauteed onions (Had ran out and not replenished). There's not that much area for seating but the tacos were delicious. I will be going back to try the burritos. So, if you're ever in the Anaheim, California area, be sure to stop here for some real authentic...
