I’ve been a loyal customer at this Starbucks location for many years—out of the three I regularly visit, this one was always my go-to. Unfortunately, a recent experience left me feeling disappointed and unwelcome. I came in fully intending to buy a coffee, as I always do. Before ordering, I asked to use the restroom, and a new employee told me I needed to either make a purchase or promise to do so before getting access. I explained that I’m a long-time customer and asked if they could make an exception, but he stood firm. I then spoke to the supervisor and even asked if I looked familiar—she confirmed that she did recognize me as a regular. Despite that, she still upheld the policy and refused to provide access without a transaction. I understand store policies, but being treated like a stranger—especially after being acknowledged as a regular—was disappointing. I didn’t appreciate being put in a position where I felt pressured to prove myself just to use the restroom in a place I’ve supported for years. From now on, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. I know they will not suffer on my $3-$7 purchase, is about the principle.
My friends got a coffee, I went to the neighbors (zait&zatar) where I go eat as a regular customer. I ask them if I can use the restroom, they...
Read moreEverytime I have gone to this location, we wait from 20 to 30 minutes for drinks we order on the mobile app which is why I know go to a different location with better and faster service. Today, I had another unpleasant experience with the employee. After we waited for about 30 minutes to get our order, before leaving this location, I checked to see if I had everything I ordered. I realized I was missing an item and called the store right away and told them what I was missing. The employee that answered the phone told me that I had to get back in line to get my missing item, meaning I would have to wait another 30 minutes for something they made a mistake on. I was not going to wait another 30 minutes so I asked for a refund. She stated that they dont do refunds over the phone and told me the only option I had was to go back some other day for my item or get back in line through the drive thru or walk up to the window from the drive thru to get my missing item. I asked if she can just take it to me since I was parked in front of the store and she said the could not open the doors after hours. So, as embarrassing as it was, I decided to walk up to the drive thru window. I expected better customer service from them for the fact being that they messed up my...
