I am unhappy. I went to McDonald's to meet up with my friend for dinner. I ordered a large coffee with expresso. After I paid with my card the manager said the expresso machine was down and handed me 2 quarters. The manager then went out to the kids play area and was using her phone. An elderly man came in and wanted his $13. dollars back. He had been waiting for it for 20 min. In the drive thru. A young man said we'll have that for you in just a couple min. The guy said no I want my money back. Where is the manager? The young man went to the back when he returned he told the guy I'll have your food in just a couple min. The guy ask for the manager again and was told we can't give your money back. We are waiting for fresh fries. The man said "I am late I just want my money back." "Go get your manager" many customers were waiting for someone to take their orders. When then manager finally came she said what is going on here why did he have to wait for ( by this time 40min.) his food? It took another 10min. to get him 2 fish sandwiches and a large fry. My friend arrived and I went to order. I noticed water coming from under the counter (big puddle) I called the manager over and showed her the puddle. She very sternly told me "Thank you for your concern" There were 3 customers in line no cashier and the drive thru young guy was leaning against the drive thru counter. The manager put a wet floor sign over the puddle and returned to the kids play area on her phone. 3 of us still in line no cashier. Then the manager returned. She took our orders. Mine was a cup of coffee and a McChicken with only mayo,extra raw onions and extra pickles. My sandwich had 1 pickle, mayo, and No onion. With the way the employees were acting I decided to check it, Since it didn't have what I wanted but to make it easier. I nicely asked for a side of 6 pickles and a side of raw onions. The sandwich person got angry with the employee I had ask to help me since the manager was somewhere else. And there still was no cashier. Finally I was given 2 side cups I decided to leave got in my van. When I opened the onion cup it was dehydrated onion not raw onions. You may think I am being picky. But when I order something a certain way it needs to be the way I order it. So I went to the drive thru and told the cashier my problem. Apparently someone gave her an argument about it. But I leave them when they are earned or necessary and I feel it's necessary when you order food from a fast food place and they can't even seem to get what your order right. I do not like being rude etc but let's be real, I'm going to call it like I see it, like many many other ppl see it....it SHOULDN'T take or DOESN'T take a rocket scientist to figure out how to make an order or take an order correctly. First of all, the person taking the order need to SLOW DOWN a moment, LISTEN, and properly enter the order. Cooks, simply follow instructions that's ON THE SCREEN and plz stop being so sloppy when you make the food. So, here's our experience which has happened many other times just like how it's happened to millions of others...we go through the drive through, order a McDouble, with catsup, mayo and extra pickle ONLY! 2 large fry's COOKED TO ORDER, that means FRESH! A fish sandwich and a large sweet team NO ice. First of all, the lady taking the order didn't understand squat. We used a code from the app where you get a free large fry with an order of $1 or more. What was wrong with the order? Missing a fry, McDouble made incorrectly, sweet tea had ice and the dry we did get was NOT cooked to order! WHY? WHY is it so hard? Lol I want to know WHY? Are ppl day dreaming? Perhaps listening to their music too loudly or b.s. ing with their co workers too much? Or do ppl just not care and expect to be paid for continuously being that careless?! Now we were just one car! It happens too too much to SO many ppl. It took us having to turn around and having to go back inside to get the order fixed. That took an additional 15 minutes and what does that mean? That's means that the food that we did get original was cold then too. Not only was it cold by the time we got back in the car but ESPECIALLY by the time we got back home. So, MCDONALD'S, your paying ppl to be lazy! Congratulations! They can't even manage to get a order correct and truthfully it's a shame that ppl nowadays consider this to be a "normal" thing. To "expect" it to happen. Why is it normal? It shouldn't be!
UPDATE 12/17/23 : Called several times today, it's a Sunday around 6:30pm and I kept trying for a period of time...they wouldn't pick up the phone? Curious to know how the owner would...
Read moreI will not ever return to this location ever again. I sat in the drive thru lane, waiting for my turn to order. I get 30 minutes for lunch. I was skipped over, and cars in the drive-through came in after me and was served and on their way with their orders. My food was not brought out to me. After 15 minutes waiting on a number 3 quarter pounder. I went inside to get my money back. But as I stepped up to the counter, they had my food. I went ahead and accepted the bag of food with the number three. These people working there at this location did this delibertly made me wait because I complained about being skipped at the drive thru lane. The bad part of the meat on my quarter pounder was Burnt. And I have no doubt it was done delibertly. No, thank you, no apology, but they took my money and stolen my time for lunch. Their are way better deserving fast food restaurants on beechmont Ave that care about their paying customers. Avoid this location. Apparently, offensive actions by employees are accepted behavior by the manager. It's been a year since I posted this review. I returned and edited this review. I have not been back to this location. And will never return. It's that bad. All thumbs down on this Mc Nasty location. 👎. I want to follow up on this Mc Donald's location. I want to say there are better locations to visi,and I do stop in at other Mc Donald's that ate ran like a top notched fast food resturant. BUT with viewing many other reviews this location is the bottom of the pitts of Mc Nasty. I don't know if this location is corporate owned or belongs to a franchise partner / private investor ownet operated resturant.
