Shamrocks Pub & Grub — Restaurant in Anderson

I'm going to give this place 5 stars for what it is. A nice little bar with friendly staff and a decent selection of craft brews that has some bar food available and maybe some nice specials here and there.

I would give it two stars for what I thought it was based on the way it came up as a restaurant in Google and the fact that it has eatery in the title. We got the tenderloin and it just a processed frozen patty that you would expect from a bar. The bun and fixings we're good and fresh and so we're the kettle chips. It just wasn't what I expected in an area where we take our tenderloin sandwiches seriously. At least in a place with eatery in the title. I really like that management seems to follow these reviews and that's the main reason I'm leaving this review. We won’t be returning. We had tickets to a show at the paramount and arrived almost 2 hours before the show with another couple. All the other tables around us filled up with in 15 minutes of people also going to same show which was about 6 or 7 tables. We ordered simple sandwiches & fries and it took over 1.5 hours to get our food. My husband & I got our food but our friends didn’t get their food for at least another 25 minutes. Several other tables were getting refunds. We had to inhale our food and was late getting to the show. When I asked the waitress if they knew when other events were going on so they could get extra help she was very rude. First time there great place and band magnolia soul was great. From experience of working in the liquor industry for multiple years prices were reasonable, yes the owners have to make profit to run the business but some things seemed to be higher than you would think but they do have a business to take care of and run also it's nice they come up with new concoctions to work with. Very friendly staff owner tried to be involved too which is always great. Not sloppy very professional in running.
