Corner Bagel Bakery & Deli — Restaurant in Anderson

This could be a great restaurant if they got your order right and the tables were clean. I have been probably 2 dozen times and only one time have they not had to redo my order. I normally get to go because the tables are regularly filthy, I don't think i've ever seen anyone out cleaning. Most recently I was there about 40 minutes. The line typically takes a while, only for them to mess up my order. First, they gave my food to the wrong person, honest mistake. Then, I checked my bag, one of the food items has a hair. They remake the single bagel, it has an ingredient i asked off of it. They remake it again, it's on a different kind of bagel. I finally asked for a refund and got a partial one. All of my other food was cold, the chips were so stale we threw them away. After working in food service for years, that is absolutely not the way to handle a situation like this. Accidents happen but it's every time and it should not take 3 tries to make a single bagel. You offer a full refund and/or to remake all the food. I will not be returning after this experience. Management needs to take a good look at the way this business is being run to fix the issues that have been going on for the 5 years i've been coming here.

I have been here a few times. I’m originally from New York so I know good bagels. I’ve always heard if you want bagels in Anderson this is your spot. What I guess people fail to mention is that this is literally the only dedicated bagel shop in Anderson. So of course it’s “the best.” My experiences here have been average. They are usually out of the flavors I want by the time I order. It’s a bummer they are closed on Sunday since that is usually the day I would treat myself. Other bagel shops in Greenville are closed on something like Monday and Tuesday instead of one of the two days 9-5ers m-f get off. The bagels here are average. I feel like they are missing something. I want to say they don’t have enough chew. With that being said if you’re in Anderson it’s a good option. If you want to drive a bit to Greenville, there are definitely options that are much better. Dearest companions, I have long embarked on this strenuous journey to discover the most exquisite pumpkin bagels. When i first stumbled upon this humble bakery & deli, my spidey senses exploded. My sniffer was stricken by the sweet aroma of fresh baked bread. My pupils dilated as they glanced upon the heavenly prices that fit my bank account splendidly. My nerves felt my fingers throw the credit card at the cashier as I hungrily craved my pumpkin bagel. My ears were ellened and graced by the angelic sound of sabrina carpenter playing in the kitchen as the staff joyfully sang along to “Espresso.” And finally, my tongue felt fireworks as the delicious cream cheese entered my pie hole and went down my esophagus.
