This place was horrible. Me and my daughter called before getting here and was told we can come in. We get here, and wasn’t acknowledged, wasn’t greeted at the door. However, the lady was busy, prior to it being 3 other lady’s behind the desk.. There was a women that was finished and left out the door, after that nobody said anything like “we will be right with you” or anything, this place was not welcoming at all, I felt as if I didn’t belong. As me and my daughter are waiting still, i announced that we were leaving, and that’s when we were acknowledged by the alterations lady. She asked if we had a appointment, and I said no but I did call. She doesn’t ask any open ended questions like “let me schedule you one”. After leaving the place I called to ask to speak to a manager which they refused to let me talk to one. So I’m assuming the alterations lady was the manager. When i got on the phone with the alterations lady ( possibly the manager), because I couldn’t get one, I was continuously interrupted, and wasn’t able to explain my issue, she was basically just trying to get her point across to tell me that I am wrong. I am a 54 year old massive cerebral hemorrhage survivor and cancer survivor. My only child was getting married in September 2024 and I wanted to look pretty and make him proud. After struggling with the challenge of finding the best dress to cover my flat shoes and a neckline that would hide the sunken spot on my breast,I found a perfect gown on Amazon and I just needed a few alterations. None of the other shops were available.The first call to staar was great and they scheduled me to come in within a week. Tatiana was and yet very compassionate and truly wanted to help me. She offered to put pads in my dress to add fullness to my breast .she did an amazing job and I was able to get the dress quickly and then she didn't charge much at all! I can totally recommend!
