I come here for church on Sundays so I can't exactly review how the ambiance of the art gallery goes but I can review of the building and the art. The building, so I've heard, used to be an old storehouse for a railway system, so there are beautiful distressed wood floors and what looks like hand hewn beams. The brick walls look filled with history. The building without art is an exhibit itself. The old elevator shafts are boarded up and the wooden frame and mechanical components have been left behind. Read moreWanted to get out of the heat while walking downtown and remembered the museum. Didn't know what to expect, but looked the little historical plaques while walking in and the well laid out areas. Some of the displays need more lighting so they can be read, and maybe a bit more direction on the floor to locations and themes. Even so, had fun exploring for an hour or so, and will be back. Interesting history on hydro-electricity and mills. Anderson had some serious visionaries in the 1800's.

They have the nicest staff and are very professional about the drop off/pick up of the children. They have different camps and activities for kids year around.
