First time we tried to go we were there 20 minutes before closing and they said they weren't taking orders. This time we went there after my birthday dinner on 8/15/25. We were the only ones in line and ordered two adult size ice creams mine with no whipped cream which was repeated back to me and two kids size. While ordering the young lady taking the order and the young gentleman working were also chatting about other things which is fine to an extent. After our order was placed they continued to stand there and talk also talking to another young customer at the counter who what had her order made while we stood there waiting for them to start our order. That is fine again to an extent but it took what seemed like a long time to start the order. However their topic of conversation isn't something to talk in front of customers. Talking about how they needed to hire people. One saying they were only there for money. How they will probably stay there for awhile but won't like it. Multiple other things that imply it's not a good place to work. While my ice cream was being made I noticed it was a kids size and asked if it was rung up wrong or made wrong and the person that took the order said she thought we wanted 3 kids even though when I ordered the 2 kids sizes I specifically said kids and she asked if I wanted the others adult size. I let it go because she said she rang me up for 3 kids so I at least didn't pay for an adult and get a kids. Then when I get my ice cream it has whipped cream on it. Even though it said no whipped cream on the ticket. The manager offered to remake it but again I tried to show Grace and said it was fine but I let the manager at the time know the reason why it was probably messed up and the wrong size was because of all the talking about everything else other than work. I go to sit and eat my ice cream and I take a bite and notice it has a hair in it. So I'm done. I ask for a refund. The manager was really great and gave me a refund and guess what when they looked at my actual order they did in fact charge me for an adult size. Needless to say I won't go back. I gave 3 stars because they made the others right and the kids liked them and the manager was apologetic and said she told them not to do things like that and customers notice things like that. We didnāt want to venture out because we loved what our āusualā is. With that being said, the server at the front wasnāt very friendly when we walked up.. which we ignored because we love the icecream. However, she misunderstood me I guess and rang up a completely different speciality icecream . There was a screen at the end for a receipt which obviously when you choose to send it you donāt get on your phone and immediately look at your receipt. The order was not called back to me, I assumed she was listening. WE ALL make mistakes. As a server myself, I will say I make mistakes all of the time. However, when we approached the owner, he stated he would remake it this time but wouldnāt do it again because āthatās what I orderedā. He wasnāt friendly about it at all. And she claimed to hand me a receipt which never happened. Iām not bashing them but customer service is #1 always. We are the ones paying to keep YOU open. Therefore, when your server misunderstands what I say. And you all cannot own up to the mistake and just POLITELY remake my ice cream that I paid a nice amount for⦠not sure I will ever be back. As a former manager, I never argued with a customer. . It upset me very much because I talked about this particular icecream with my favorite snack in it all week so I knew exactly what I said and ordered because I wanted it allll week long and had two ppl with me as well who knew thatās what I always get. It just sucks it taste great but didnāt taste nearly as good after such a bad customer service experience. I understand it can become costly when you remake items. I get that. But seriously, the servers should always reread your order to make sure itās correct or either own up to your servers mistakes. Ā Ā Ā Read moreOkay, I came to try the place out, and once I got in I saw how many people were waiting and most of the people who were in there didn't even get their rolled ice cream yet, saying they've already been waiting about 40 minutes. So I already had a bad feeling about it, but I was with friends so I ended up ordering the Carmel crunch. Went to Magnetic South right next door and waited. Fast forward to 40 minutes later and I went back to Creamland and stood for another 40 minutes and finally got my ice cream. It looked sparse and tasted good but nothing special. The workers looked so overwhelmed and at 7:30 they still had so many orders and were still accepting orders. They should be working on efficiency and time management, seeing as it took an hour and 20 minutes to get my order. It was a good idea but unfortunately not executed very well.
