Dash Cafe at Harrah's Hoosier Park — Restaurant in Anderson

Dash Cafe is the latest iteration of an eatery inside Hoosier Parks Casino in Anderson. The latest but certainly not the greatest.

My mother had the chicken salad and was not favorably impressed. Very pricey, low quality. I got the corn and shrimp soup. Similarly underwhelming although I filled up on crackers which softened the blow a bit. They still have free beverages, for now, so at least that saved a bit of money, but overall -high prices -tiny portions -low quality -poor taste Free drinks got them to two stars.

The service was irredeemable, however. I get that you are not excited to be working at the Dash Cafe for minimum wages but I found the service atrocious. Service without a smile.

To be fair, the dining area has been upgraded with views of the race track. Any kind of view of the outdoors in a casino is a rare blessing and, furthermore, the dining area is spacious and uncrowded. If there was just something worth eating there....
