My husband and I enjoyed the food it was our first time experience. We were greeted when we came in by a server that never smiled at us not once. It was disappointing at first but their were other servers that came by and made us feel welcome and refilled our coffee. We left a tip, with me being a server myself I understand some do depend on their tips. However ...when leaving me and my husband went to the rest room came back a couple was told you can sit right their and we will come and clean the table off. The couple began to sit down as we were trying to make sure we didn't leave anything on the table. Guest were leaving and their was not a clean table in the resturant at that moment. I was disappointed our food was awesome but our service was not where it should of been from the start through out our visit. Will consider coming back just...

I should have read the reviews before going. It seems the only thing worth getting is cheese burgers and cheeseburger clubs! The bird dog was awful and the honey mustard was more like honey mayo! The cost of the meal is outrageous for the portions of food you get. Ex: my grandmother got the turkey sandwich no side just turkey and mayo and it was $5.19 my son got a side of bacon and cup of cheese grits and it was $6.00 my daughter was the only one satisfied and she got the burger. My total bill for lunch for 4 ppl was $32.34 + tip $40.00 and I fed my family of 5 later that night for $28.74 at mama penn's. I don't work nor care to endorse mama penn's eathier. OMG guys this is a gem in Anderson I have never been to this place before until last Friday morning with some colleagues one of whom also hasn't been to this restaurant until Friday of last week. The atmosphere was great nice homey feel to it and the service was top notch and guys let me tell you about the food. I got a Belgian waffle with chocolate chips, and it was delicious. I also got some sausage that went with it and got a side of hashbrowns and man oh man was it sooooooooo good!!!!
