McDonald's — Restaurant in Anderson

This new McDonald's restaurant format really tells how little they really value their customers. We only had a little time and wanted a quick bite to eat & McDonalds has been kinda reliable in the past so we gave it a shot well, no longer. You walk in the door, step up to a kiosk (not a counter with a smiling face ready to serve you quickly and efficiently) & spend too much time trying to navigate the sub menus just to get a couple Egg McMuffins & coffees & pay with a card. While we waited for the food we looked around and could not find a clean table to sit at, even tho they were not busy. Had to hunt down someone who grudegingly cleaned one for us. When the food comes there are no creams or sugars tho they were selected for when we placed our order. Oh, there were no stir sticks out, we had to ask for them, they gave us a whole one stir stick to share between us. All in all the lack of any interest to provide even the pretense of service and value for the customer leaves a very bad taste in our mouth. Not that we haven't been other of the new and un-improved McDonald's in recent months and we're similarly disappointed and left feeling cheated this experience is the topper - we are scratching McDonald's off our list of eateries to patronize....

I went to McDonald’s at 3:51 on April 2, ordered Big Mac,Double cheeseburger w/onions and 2 small fries no salt. I had to pull up bc I guess my fries were cooking.Alexia brought my food out look in my bag to check to see if fries were without salt and I had HAIR IN MY BAG! I told Alexia when she came bck out with my condiments and she asked what I wanted to do I told her I wanted new food,so she took my bag and went back in . I got out the car moments after bc I wanted to make sure she gave me NEW FOOD. Went in to wait the other ladies were very nice, one of the managers asked what happened I told her she ask did I want my money bck I told her NO JUST NEW FOOD! The other lady bagging food asked Alexia did she need my food she had set in the warmer she said yes jump waiting on fries! I told her just give my money bck bc why wouldn’t she throw everything in the trash and give me all new food “the piece of hair could’ve been sticking out Big Mac box” and that’s against DHEC policy she was supposed to throw it away anyway bc it came from outside bck in. I then demanded my money back bc that was not how you do someone! Alexia is a manager as well! So needs to be FIRED OR SENT BCK THROUGH...

I placed a mobile order and picked up at curbside. When the two girls brought it out I told them that the two small teas and one large tea was not supposed to have ice. One girl said you should order it that way, I told her I did. I have the three cups with ice in them to the other girl she said we can’t take those back I asked her if she could throw them away then. Reluctantly she took them. I waited 8 minutes and still didn’t get my three teas. I went in the two girls were behind the wall where I couldn’t see them. I told them I was coming in for the sweet teas with no ice and also proceeded to show them where I ordered no ice and told them the girl was rude. Then there was four employees looking at the screen .. sure enough no ice. No apologies for not bringing them out, no apologies for the rudeness, nothing! This is not the first time the employees at this location have been rude and unacceptable. This location will not get out...
