At first this specific Waffle House didn't earn not even one star, however my issue was resolved and gave three stars. I have to eat at Waffle House a good bit working and like it, nothing personal on that I don't love any restaurants; they usually do pretty good getting everything right and it's usually good food. Now the morning of this comment I went in and ordered an All-star Special- eggs scrambled, grits not hash browns and bacon for the meat. Then I ordered a bowl of chili and a order of hash browns to go. I'll admit I made an ignorant mistake and didn't pay attention but the cook is the one put the food in the bag and asked if "I had paid" the amount was $15.58 and then gave $6 tip cause there was only 2 I figure $3 each so I payed $21,58, so yes I payed; then I got the bag, walked out. Hot home looked in the bag only had part of the All-Star which was eggs, hash browns and bacon; however I didn't get the waffle, honestly not a big deal about it being wrong on getting hash browns not grits, it's the fact I didn't even receive my order and missing something on the first order. Then the fact I had to call back to back trying to talk to someone, finally get an answer I get told I called the wrong one, I look the Waffle House I went to up on Google Maps and it was the right one anyway. I called them back, time and time again altogether 30 times. Hopefully that was just a bad experience and hopefully this review will change to...
Read moreI know a Waffle House can get busy, but it’s insane how much raw and half cooked food there was just everywhere along the kitchen line and where food is prepped. The waffle station looked like a first grade class learned how to make waffles there that morning. It was bad. Mounds or raw batter stacked on the Waffle makers and buckets of batter mix sitting wide open without any lids on to keep the batter clean. The waffle that was given to me had raw batter mix on the edges and not fully cooked in the middle. I questioned eating it to begin with because this is after watching the line cook, full palm and fingers, all over the waffles he was making, without wearing gloves. I brought the condition of my waffle to the wait staffs attention and they said it was just the batter off the iron and that’s all. When I pointed out the middle wasn’t cooked all they said it looked fine, so I said fine. I didn’t want to argue over a waffle. I pushed it up the counter and left it there untouched after that. I waited on the rest of my food but no one came to check back or to even bring the bacon that my daughter and I were waiting on the entire time. Not once did someone ask us if we needed anything else after the Waffle drop off and the waitresses just never checked back until they brought us our ticket and done with being there. Hope this was just a very off day for them because it’s a shame how far the quality has gone down in this Waffle House...
Read moreSo me and my boyfriend went to this Waffle House at about 3 this morning and let me tell you we had the worst service that we have ever had at ANY Waffle House we have ever been to. Well from the first waitress that came over to take our order anyway and her name is JESSICA. The 2 cooks and the other waitress were very nice and respectful. We were not being difficult or belligerent in any way at all. The only thing we asked was if she could have the cooks clean the grill off so no onions from another order got in my food bc I’m allergic to onions. But before that when we got there she didn’t even greet us or ask how we were or anything just “what do yall want to drink” so we said Dr P in to go cups and a coffee. She brought them to the table set them down. I had to ask for cream for my coffee. She was just rude all the way around. If she don’t like her job then maybe she should find another one. The 2 cooks and the other waitress got tips she did NOT. We were just at this same Waffle House last weekend and it was a totally different experience. And JESSICA...
