CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS The debit machine was down, and it happens, I get it. I paid cash. I asked for a receipt, and the cashier said she wasn't able to print on at the front register but that her manager could print it out in the back. The cashier went back to ask for it to be printed and came back to tell me the manager said whatever comment I had that I could share it with her and she'd tell her manager. I politely said I needed it for another reason. She went back again to talk to the manager, who then came to ask me why I wanted a receipt. (manager) I said it wasn't about a comment but for proof of expenses, like reimbursement. She acted like she really didn't want me to have it... cause she just walked away at that point without sayin ANYTHING. Leaving me feel like I was an inconvenience for tracking my expenses. When the manager jetted off without saying she would print the receipt, I looked at the cashier. I felt the look the young lady gave to me was like an I'm sorry. It wasn't on the cashier. She rang my order up accurately.. The cashier followed her manager back to grab my receipt and gave it to me. I put it in my pocket and came back to eat where i was staying. While eating, I looked at the receipt & it shows 2 discounts, and that I only paid $2. THAT'S NOT TRUE!!!! LOOK AT THE PICTURE OF THE RECEIPT. What's goin on? Now I don't get reimbursed properly and feel like I was stolen from for $14+. WHO REALLY POCKETED THE MONEY!? Times are hard, but they are for everyone. I need answers.. AND I WANT A VALID RECEIPT FOR REIMBURSEMENT PURPOSES/TRAVEL/WORK. I reached out VIA comment line but was NEVER CONTACTED to rectify this situation and get a valid receipt. Read moreWent to pick up dinner for my elderly mother and me the other day. My order was a simple one. Taco salad combo meal, Jr. Bacon cheeseburger 4 for $4, Large Chili. Diet Coke for the combo, and regular Coke for the 4 for $4. Sweet and Sour sauce for the 4 piece nuggets. Made sure I asked for crackers for the chili. When I got home this is what I had. Now mind you it was 7:00 PM give or take 5 minutes. Both Cokes were diet. There was only the small chili for the taco salad, no large. No chips for the taco salad. I always eat the fries on the way home and they were cold. Not warm or luke warm but actually cold. Sign says hot and fresh. Now that's a croc. Jr. bacon cheeseburger had no tomato on it. There were 4 packs of crackers that had been crushed. Not broken but actually crushed and no sauce for the nuggets. I was polite and the staff was not friendly at all. In fact they bordered on hateful. It's been 28 years since I stepped foot in a Steak and Shake, and this will likely start my next boycott of Wendy's. Pandemic or no, I was the only car in drive-thru. If you can't do any better than this, lock up and leave. This neighborhood has plenty of lost businesses. Blaming the economy and the pandemic is not the problem. Poor attitudes and poor service is definitely the problem. The last 10 times I patronized this establishment has been the same. Read moreI stopped on my way home from work to try the Bacon Queso Chicken sandwich, I also asked for crispy fries..I wanna add that I'm not a big complainer or a picky person.. My fries were under cooked and closer to mashpotatoes, which really is disappointing specially since I asked for them to be crispy and was ok with waiting, they were so much the complete opposite that I automaticly thought they thought it would be funny or whoever was trying to be (smart).. I let this go and carried on driving I opened the box to my bacon queso chicken sandwich "86 bacon", to see a hamburger "with bacon".. LoL Ouch! This, I turned around and drove 6 miles back to fix I paid $7.59 for some poor fries and a sandwich I did not order. The counter employee was nice and forgiving and the window worker was very nice also with fast service. But what I won't forgive is how rude this manager was .. At least this awkward encounter didn't last long.. She deffinetly tried to make me feel as if I was in the wrong.. I got so flustered I babled my words lol.. Wendy's might wanna replace this manager for someone that understands customer service, and has people skills.. Cause hers on a 1 to 5 scale are more like a -3.. At least her employees were very nice...
