Pizza Ranch — Restaurant in Andover

Update 8/11/24 I am lower my rating on two of the Pizza Ranches near me. Andover and the Cambridge MN locations. The last few visits it is rare to see a chicken wing and almost never see any chicken breasts. My husband asked a employee that was adding food to the buffet who pointed out several pieces she said were breasts but the whole lot was thighs. So I went up and asked another employee at the food station that told me some fresh chicken breasts were coming out in five minutes. We watched for someone to add in chicken and after 5 minutes they did but it was just more dark meat and 1 chicken breast that was not fresh. If you like dark meat there is plenty of that otherwise you are out of luck to get white meat to make a nice chicken meal with sides 😔.

We ate at this location a week ago and were mostly pleased. The staff seemed very efficient and courteous. The restaurant was clean and extremely busy so sometimes keeping all the food out was hit and miss. But I can imagine the kitchen was churning it out as fast as they could. The best restaurants have this happen too. The pizzas and cheese sticks were excellent as well as the salad bar. Chicken and sides were also good except the chicken was a little tough and did not seem to have as much seasoning in the crust so a little bland compared to the Cambridge location which is my only complaint. Seems if the chicken was seasoned better and be cooked a little longer it would be more tender but again they were very busy and were probably trying to keep the food coming out. Went with another family who had never been here before. Went around 7pm with a group of 7. Weird experience for our group. Ordered a pizza for our table, since all the pizzas on the buffet were just mainly cheese. Once we got the pizza most of us were up at the buffet and getting drinks and the staff cleared our entire table off, taking our pizza plates with them. At around 7:40 went to order a new one since our food had been taken. At 7:50 staff told us the buffet was all going to be taken down and we would need to get food if we wanted anything else. We told them we had ordered another pizza. Between 7:50-8:00 a staff member continuously kept coming over to try and take more and more things off our table (we were still waiting for our pizza) he almost lingered over us and kept asking to take our plates and then wanted to take our cups too. My husband eventually asked him to please relax we were leaving soon. Once we got our pizza they had boxed up we immediately left it was 8:08 when we walked out the door. All in all it was a weird experience we felt they made it a point to get us to leave. If the restaurant plans to close essentially at 7:30-7:45 they need to stop seating at 6:30 had we known this we would have gone somewhere else and the other family we were with do not plan to go back here again. It's always an awesome time at this Pizza Ranch location. Food was Stellar, Staff was great, I cant thank you enough when I can go to Pizza Ranch @ 8:00pm sometimes even later and see a fully stocked buffet with fresh food. I am a late night person and This Location always welcomes me even 1 hour to close. I cant get that at any other buffet let alone a pizza place. I love the atmosphere too.

Great people,great staff,great food. Due to your well thought of ranch rewards program it's a great way to get repeat customers. The customers I see at this Pizza Ranch location also are kind and considerate. I feel this is due to the happy atmosphere This location provides. With good value and smiling staff people seem to be more considerate. I have got more excuse me's and thank you's from fellow customers then at any buffet. The Pizza Ranch corporation really knows how to care for your customers.

I will be a lifetime supporter of the local Pizza Ranch. I tell everyone I meet about Pizza Ranch being #1.
