I think this store is incredibly expensive. Yes, I'm aware that groceries are exigencies everywhere. But nothing compared to this place. They even have Cub beat which I thought could never happen. Only thing I go in here for are the dresser sachets they sell in the floral department and to look at their produce section. They always have beautiful produce, if you have a second job to buy any, otherwise I watch their sales on produce. I'm super picky about my fruit. Super picky. And they never fail to have good fruit but the only time I can afford it is if it's on sale. I bought a black diamond watermelon š š last night and brought it home.....ugh! It's going back today. I don't care. I spent $8.00 on it. I'm not taking the bite, they can. It's actually cheaper to shop at Byerlys. And that's the truth. Byerlys has way lower prices, way better deals and just as good if not better produce. Byerlys is cheaper then Cub FOR SURE! People think they are getting the best deals because they shop at Cub....lol, not true. Take a look sometime. Compare. I challenge anyone to compare. You'll be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFestival has some of the more "homemade" items and items you don't see at markets like Cub or Wal-Mart. First of all, they carry Olsen's Pickled Herring in Creamy Sauce, which is my husband's favorite thing, this time of year. Festival also carries specialty items such as: Swedish Potato Sausage ring, Lefsa, Salmon Lox, an Olive Bar, a large deli and bakery, a Coffee Bar, a gift shop, and a good variety of other specialty items. Of course, they carry the ordinary, popular items, too. People are cordial and helpful. I really enjoy looking around at new and different items at markets, so this was a fun place for me to wander. I only gave them 4 Stars just because their prices are higher than my usual shopping spots. If you don't mind paying a bit more, or are looking for a special item, this is a delightful...

Iāve lived in the neighborhood one block from this store for almost 2 1/2 decades, and when target opened up next to it with some groceries and the super Walmart opened up down the road, festival had more sales than ever before but now I find over the years their prices are consistently higher than everybody elseās, their meat department and produce is one of the best, but you pay for it, I went to Aldi today and paid $3.99 per pound for great chicken breasts at festival theyāre $6.99 per pound all the way up to $8.99 per pound. Aldiās produce is fresh and cheaper. This is an update on 5/17/2025 an avacado was $2.79 for one!!!! Absolutely ridiculous, how does this store compete against Walmart and Target one...
