Really great sushi and great cocktails! I loved their variety as well, and the fact the sushi menu came with pictures. We took Queens special, Andover maki, and Christmas maki, and loved them in that order. Loved my blue Hawaiian too. Overall, this place has a good vibe. The only thing I'd warn others about is: if you don't like noisy environments, please don't visit this place after 9.30pm on weekends, unless you wanna torture yourself with people singing horribly and at the top of their voices at the karaoke. I mean karaokes are fun, but not when all the tables in the restaurant have a microphone. It would have been better if the microphone was passed on to only the table requesting that particular song (I gotta admit, the whole restaurant singing out of tune felt like noise pollution after a certain while). But no complaints with the food - 1 sushi dish and 1 drink would be around $30-$35ish per person.

Sho Yu of Andover is cater more to the American tastes, unlike its other 2 Sho Yu. There are. This is a Chinese Japanese and Thai restaurant. It is a very good sport bar with TV monitor on three side of the restaurant. It has $1 oysters time. I ordered the chicken wing, boneless rib, teriyaki beef with garlic noodles. They were very good. I also ordered the Thai drunken noodles. That was only OK. It did not have enough wok breath. Sho Yu also has Karaoke and live band on the weekend after 9:00 pm

First time here and I absolutely love the theme that's neon, exciting and oddly intimate since the space is divided by the bar, window seats, booth area, etc. Scorpion bowl was fantastic, my partner got the zombie and wasn't impressed though. It looked like one bartender was much more experienced than the other. So I'm just giving four stars for drink inconsistency as well as how loud the karaoke got.

Maybe it’s because they just opened and still getting their act together but I didn’t have a good experience. Bar tender took her time getting to me and the bar was pretty much empty. Took my order and then forgot about it. More people arrived and she tended to their orders. Served them. And then finally came back to me asking if I was ready to order.

After she eventually served me, I ordered food but she told me the prices weren’t the same as I saw on the menu and that it was going to be a few dollars more. She wasn’t specific. I had just talked to a waiter prior to ordering and was told the prices as they were on the menu. I told the bar tender that and she said ok. Strange that the staff are not on the same page.

Quality of food was mediocre at best. Food arrived fairly quickly. And I understand why now as it looked and tasted like fast food. Chicken was processed. Like McDonald’s chicken nuggets but with sauce on it.

I would probably only go to this place for drinks but get ready to pay Andover prices for drinks as beer was $12 for a 16 ounce.

Lots of TVs for sports fans, a plus. Large bar. Bar seats have low backs so wasn’t the most comfortable. Seats don’t have swivels so tough to maneuver the seats on an entirely carpeted floor.

Over all I gave this 2 stars because of the service and...

Such a gem 💎 in Andover. A karaoke 🎤 lover's dream. An Asian fusion cuisine 🍜 lover's dream.

-Kitchen closes at different times depending on the day: Sunday 9PM Mon-Wed 11 PM Thu-Sat 12 AM (midnight)

The owner combined the two former locations into one glorious restaurant and bar. All staff are consistently friendly and efficient. Scott the manager and the bartenders are always crushing it. The food is always so delicious and so are the cocktails.

There's an outdoor seating area which is open (weather permitting) from early April until the end of October.

This place has multiple phases of service depending on the time of day; -Lunchtime, mostly takeout from people and businesses; not many people eating in -Dinner gets fairly busy especially on weekends. Service and food are both very fast- somehow I've never waited long here for takeout or dine-in. -Karaoke most/every nights until midnight - Fridays and Saturdays are super lit. Usually a great non-aggressive crowd, having a great time. Lots of singing, dancing and good vibes.

This is one of my favorite restaurants ever and I couldn't...
