When we first arrived we were poorly greeted and we felt unwelcomed by a gentleman. I asked about the gluten free menu that I've ordered from in the past. The gentleman shut me down by saying that there was no longer one available and that it was recently "done away" with. He left. The next thing I know the manager was showing me where to find gluten free options on a digital menu with the gentleman looking on. I told him he had almost ruined me lunch, with a smile. The manager said he was new while he frowned at me. He later returned with a printed out gluten free options menu which I was pleasantly surprised to see. He explained it was easier to make choices that way versus the digital menu. I thanked him with a smile. This time, he returned the smile. I chose the grilled chicken salad, no cheese with thousand island dressing. It was very good. The only other thing that I noticed was a pile of dust and imprints of where children may have grabbed the ledge of the booth we were in. There was lots of visible dust that looked like has been ignored for awhile. Other than that, it turned out better...
Read moreWe waited almost 1 hour for our food after we ordered "49 minutes to be exact" our waitress stopped by 4 times the whole time (1st to ask drinks and apps, 2nd to drop drinks and apps off, and take our order, 3rd to drop off our food, and finally drop the check and dessert off.) We had to flag other staff members down for refills which only happened once. The "bigger" fajitas are the same size, and came out undercooked, the burgers were burnt, ribs were dry (didn't order dry rub btw), and the dessert was hard and tasted burnt. We spent 1 hour and 45 minutes at Angleton Chili's for horrible service, and cruddy food. The only picture I took was of the raw fajitas and due to how dark the restaurant was it's hard to tell how rare it is, but it was bloody. It looks pink, but I can assure...
Read moreUpdate: We came back to give this place one more try, after not dining here for about 6 months. I can honestly say that I've never seen a restaurant decline so far so fast. The food is mediocre, at best, and the service is beyond bad. I would not recommend coming here for any reason. If you're craving Chili's, just drive to Lake Jackson and eat at that location.
Previous Review: This used to be a 5 star restaurant. However, over the last couple of months, the quality of the food has declined. The food was being served cold and you could tell that much of it had been prepared earlier and was dried out. The service was usually pretty good here though. My family and I quit going here and are now going to the Chili's in...
